    Cute.

But I’m still not voting for either of them.

  2. peter_m says:

    Sad,
Hilary is giving McCain all the help she can manage… She’s not even a republican!

  3. steve says:

Neither of these candidates have any leadership qualities, just the usual political deceptions, but that was an awesome film short.great

  4. dodgema says:

Absolutely loved it … very creative, and strangely moving.

  5. Don Coyote says:

Great cure for that Sunday Bloody Sunday feeling.
Hard to tell sometimes if American politics are more like a blockbuster movie or the Saturday AM cartoons.

  6. tallwookie says:

easily one of the funnier political parodies ive seen recently.

Still not going to vote either way.

An excellent job! Well done! If only Obama was pro-life, I’d vote for him.

  9. Cursor_ says:

We have no longer any leadership in the US.

The US cannot continue as it stands now. The tools are rusted and the machinery in disrepair.

We need a new government and a new constitution.

The people running for president will not do this. They are advocates for the same old way.

The US has started the long slide in obscurity like Spain, France and the UK have seen.

    Its over.

Good video, but we are going to be seeing a lot of a different type of video right through to November.

The 3 R’s: Reverends, Radicals, and Rezko
Just “distractions” or failures of judgment?

  12. Cblank21 says:

President Clinton = I’d vote for her.

President Obama = I’d vote for McCain

Pick the lesser of the three evils!

  13. David22 says:

It was satire wasn’t it – nice to have a smile in this mess ‘we’ have created.

  14. All I can say is I won’t vote republicrat this year…

Hillary you must face again, then a Jedi you will be.

  16. bobbo says:

Unfortunately, it is impossible to tell who would be the better candidate, and given political interests, even what a better outcome would actually be.

Still, I think Hillary got tagged on her characterization that “she is a fighter.” Yes she is. Its been said that if she had stopped fighting for her perfect health plan in the 90’s, we all would have something now to tweak rather than nothing for so many==ie, she is polarizing and inflexible. On “This Week” just now, she affirms the financial sources for the Clinton Library will not be released until AFTER the election. Now, why would that be?

McCain, the maverick is pandering to the far right base, and will abandon them during the campaign to move to the center. He thinks staying in Iraq is a good thing, the economy is going well, and healthcare doesn’t need any major change. Zero for 3 on issues he looks like he actually believes.

Obama–criticized so far for being inexperienced and having anti-American friends. New ideas will always come from those without experience, they haven’t had the time to be corrupted. Guilt by association is never a pretty thing.

Nader–excellent ideas I hope the Dems would take on 100%, but they won’t. Totally unelectable.

But then, I still like Dean and Edwards?

  18. Girly Games says:

I would have to say, “I wouldn’t vote for Obama.” because I think he kind of seems like a robot. I wouldn’t vote for Clinton neither. My vote will hopefully go to McCain.

  19. hhopper says:

I’ll most likely vote for Nader just to protest the usual lack of good presidential candidates.

  20. bobbo says:

@19–hhopper==I think that is a valid reason, and as with any political position, if enough other people did the same thing, dominoes could fall.

I have never heard a “good” reason to be against Obama. What are your reasons?

  21. Jägermeister says:

#17 – Mister Mustard – Don’t forget to bring your white sheets and hoods to the laundry.

    lol 😀

  22. MikeN says:

Bobbo, McCain has made health care a major issue in his campaign, and is suggesting important changes to the system. He’s putting more of an emphasis of having patients in charge of health care instead of insurance companies and businesses, while the standard plans have been for more government control.

  23. bobbo says:

#22–Mike==I seem to be giving you a full time job in correcting my “factual” errors? I think I tend not to pay very close attention to those I have dismissed, so I do get sloppy. If you can stand it, keep me honest. To that end, I did write McCain off. He has nothing to offer and by that I was thinking of exactly what you post at #23.

A market based competitive insurance company based healthcare program is long term too expensive, rife with fraud, excessive expenses on non-patient care elements of the system, and in short===just the wrong approach to something that needs systematic change.

I have not seen McCain do anything except tinker at the margin of any issue he has addressed. He does think “Things are going pretty good.”

Who wouldn’t, married to a Beer Hieress?

    Correct away. (smile!)

  24. Mister Mustard says:

    >>McCain has made health care a major issue in
    >>his campaign, and is suggesting important
    >>changes to the system.

Oh yes? What changes might those be? “Free market” health insurance for individuals, in which anyone who actually needs medical care is denied insurance?

    Mission Accomplished!!

McSame has already pissed on his fire hydrdants and staked out his territory.

  25. hhopper says:

Well, like him or not, he’s going to be our next president… John C. Dvorak said so.

  26. MikeN says:

Perhaps I misread you, but that all looks like code for ‘too much profit, I want government controlled health care.’ My only response is that more government involvement is what’s driven up prices in the first place, along with technology. Also, the government doesn’t intervene so much in other necessities like food or housing. We don’t require companies to pay for workers’ housing.

  27. bobbo says:

#27–Mike==too lazy to post the referenced post? Others may not be as egotistical to think its me,me,me. ((It is me–right???????))

I don’t need to use code when what I post is pretty well understood, quote worn, and universally accepted except for the hogs currently at the trough.

I want single payer universal coverage. It cuts out a lot of waste.

On your other irrelevant but posted issues, whats your point?? Not enough governmental subsidies of corporate farming for you? Want to call it “none” so that you can increase it without complaint??? What branch of ADM do you work for?

You are right though that there is not enough government intervention in housing. Starting with defective zoning, a small non-economic change in policy could have many beneficial effects. All to be discussed as the right thread arises.

In the meantime, do you think healthcare is a proper activity for the free market? Or is it more a public good that should be provided to all?

  28. bobbo says:

Huff Post has an interesting article on McCains Healthcare Plan.

Seems like as I was saying–it transfers even more money to healthcare corporations instead of patient care:

    http://tinyurl.com/4wlzx5

If anybody comes across a “good” McCain program, could you post it?

  29. Cblank21 says:

@17 – Its amazing how quick you think that all who don’t support Obama are racist. I am offended and appalled bu such idiotic statements. I personally feel that Obama is not experienced enough to take the office of the President yet. We have not dug through his past enough to know all that is hiding there. Just look at what has come out of the woodwork in just the past month. So before any of you think to call a NON-Obama supporter racist, ask them why they don’t support Obama before you shout out that they are racist!

    A little more perspective:
Colin Powell – Trumps every presidential ticket for the past two decades!
