This was sent to me by Brenda Christensen who got it from her Mom in Denmark:

We in Denmark cannot figure out why you are even bothering to hold an election in the US.

On one side, you have a bitch who is a lawyer, married to a lawyer, running against a lawyer who is married to a bitch who is a lawyer.

On the other side, you have a war hero married to a good looking woman with big tits who owns a beer distributorship.

Is there really a contest here?

  1. pat says:

I called it yesterday. Now confirmed, McCain for the win!

  2. caa says:

    That is freakin hilarious

  3. That is awesome!! Great joke.

  4. Rabble Rouser says:

    McCain is the joke!
Choose wisely sheeple, last time when there was a choice between someone with a brain, and someone who we “would like to have a beer with,” look at what garbage we got.

  5. Mike P says:

That quote is full of win

  6. stevenelliott says:

She states a very valid point.

  7. pat says:

    #4 – I know! Carter was a disaster!

  8. James Hill says:

Post of the year. Well done – even my wife laughed.

  9. Brian says:

It’s a contest because, apparently, the majority of Americans (at least these days) don’t want war heroes for their President. Case in point, John Kerry.

Having a President that you’d like to have a beer with isn’t necessarily the greatest thing for the country, either. The evidence of that over the last 7 years has been overwhelming.

  10. brendal says:

…and Denmark does not apologize. ::burp::

  11. ewj says:

This is very funny and I am definitely not voting for McCain.

    Please people this a joke.

  12. DaWorm says:

    Well said Denmark, I concur

  13. Improbus says:

I would like a president that has an IQ over 100 and is not senile. That rules out the current president and the current republican nominee.

  14. @#9: It is not “war hero” aspect of Kerry that was unpleasant. It was his “patricianship”. If “war hero” Kerry could overcome “silver spoon” Kerry, results would be different.
What Americans do want is person with principles. That is the allure of McCain and Obama (by now everyone knows that Clinton politics are devoid of principles).
In my personal opinion, I think Obama is faking part of his principles and hiding the yet another part. Still, I think he would act on them as President.
McCain is the only candidate with clear and undistorted principles. You may not agree with them, but you know exactly what he will do as a President.
I personally escaped Communism so there is no way I’d support any candidate with clear or hidden Commy’ agenda. Unfortunately most Americans haven’t had experience with sweet-talking Commies. Listen to Obama and imagine background with large red stars and such… And than, there is that LAWYER aspect as well…

  15. decdogg says:

    All politics aside, that’s funny.

  16. Improbus says:

If Obama is a communist then call me comrade. As to the lawyer aspect … how many representatives and senators are NOT lawyers?

  17. bobbo says:

#13–dusan==once capitalism has taken root in a society communism does not need to be feared. Everyone then agrees, including the leaders and want to be leaders and the electorates votes to be gathered, that there is more money to be stolen in a capitalist system than in a communist one.

Now, totalitarianism==yes, that remains a real worry, but still behind fascism.

  18. Mr. Catshit says:

On the other side, you have a war hero married to a good looking woman with big tits who owns a beer distributorship.

Is there really a contest here?

Well, McCain isn’t a “war hero”. He spent the war in a POW camp. That makes him much more the “hero” than the current asswipe, but, … . His right wing nut friends seem intent on proving he was actually a traitor who sold out his comrades.

I don’t think his wife is “that” attractive, they have copious amounts of silicone, and the beer is typical American dishwater.

So what is the point here?

  19. stevet says:

    That is a gutbuster

  20. bobbo says:

#17–catshit==yeap, getting shot down and imprisoned does not make one a hero, only a victim. But refusing to leave without your fellow captives—–that’s more than I would have done. More–at least different.

How effective could he have been “free” doing everything to bring his brothers home? We’ll never know and that’s not a criticism.

  21. chuck says:

Obviously this is an insult to democracy, lawyers and bitches, by the people of Denmark!

We must riot in the streets, burn their flag, and attack their embassy!!

    Oh, wait a minute, I forgot – I’m not a Muslim.
    Never mind.

  22. iansltx says:

It takes a lot for me to bust out laughing…but the post, plus the comments, have put me over the edge. I think I need a rimshot…

Seriously, “vera naise” (as Borat would say). Darned lawyers…

  23. decdogg says:

If you don’t think he is a hero. Read his book. “Faith of my fathers.” Read also the book of John Dramesi “Code of Conduct” Once you read those you will have to agree with me, most of those men who were POW’s are indeed heroes. I personally have had the pleasure of working for Col. Dramesi. He was my wing commander when I was stationed at Pease A.F.B.

He also would invite more former POW’s to coma and talk to us about their experiences. When you hear about men in captivity who are starved and tortured. Who as all looked black would keep their faith in their country. Who would have the faith in their fellow POW’s, to the point of teaching their jailers the Hawaiian good luck signal, and accepting the consequences.

Does this make John Mccain a good candidate for president? I don’t know. I haven’t made up my mind yet.

Is he a hero? Yes he is and its an honor to be under the same moon as such men.

  24. pat says:

    #15 – Correct, Omama isn’t a communist, he is actually a Marxist.

  25. yaksnaki says:

Don’t worry Denmark. The war hero with the wife with big tits and a beer company will win. We Americans are not complete idiots!

  26. brendal says:

    Pls. pass the beer…thx.

  27. bobbo says:

Hero: 1 a: a mythological or legendary figure often of divine descent endowed with great strength or ability b: an illustrious warrior c: a man admired for his achievements and noble qualities d: one that shows great courage2 a: the principal male character in a literary or dramatic work b: the central figure in an event, period, or movement3plural usually heros : submarine 24: an object of extreme admiration and devotion : idol

Well, I was just about to count McCain out==but I will give him 1D for the courage he showed.

McCains hero status has always been high for refusing to come home early but lowered because of his support for responding to torture with “name, rank, and serial number only” while constantly thinking about the flag and what it stands for. I don’t think that would work for me.

For those who read those books—must be several short descriptions of what he did that is beyond admirable?

  28. hatchethead says:

What the poster (and many commentators) misses, of course, is that picture is of a truck from John McCain’s second most successful campaign for president. That the print has lasted so long is a testament to archival photo paper.

  29. Mr. Catshit says:

    Bobbo,

I was being flippant. Of coarse McCain deserves credit for what he did during the war. The same as Kerry and every other person who went into the theater.

There are, however, those who claim McCain is actually a Manchurian candidate OR a traitor for some nefarious conduct while in captivity. I am not one of those.

His wife’s looks do deserve some credit to her surgeon and Dow-Corning’s ingenious use of silicone.

And American beer does taste like dishwater compared to the finer beers of the world.

  30. OvenMaster says:

Apparently the people of Denmark are able to see through the smoke, mirrors and bullshit we’re subjected to daily by the American “media”.
