WD Raptor (not Velociraptor) hard drives have been around for ages, this isn’t anything new. They tend to be smaller capacity for the price than typical SATA drive, but the speed difference is noticeable. Systems boots faster, apps usually load better. But it’s not fast as solid state drives. Raid 0 two Raptors together and you’re looking really fast, but not tried it my self.

I always wondered why there was bong water sounds in the background? “I don’t feel anything but I could sure use a 40lb. bag of Oreo cookies.”

“We have absolutely no intention of blocking current versions of any browsers, including Apple’s Safari, from our website.” – so says PayPal, today.

Apparently – per the example they used, today – they were referring to people running IE4 on W98…

#5 – And lexmark being dropped? Took very long to happen. Talk about a slow death.

We should just be grateful that it is finally happening.
