The Sports Network – Indy Car Series — This took forever and it’s now off the table. Race enthusiasts have been sick of waiting for this over-hyped driver to finally win a race.
Motegi, Japan (Sports Network) – Danica Patrick finally answered her critics by capturing the rain-delayed Japan Indy 300 from the Twin Ring Motegi circuit in Japan. The No.7 Andretti Green Racing driver passed Helio Castroneves with three laps to go and crossed the finish line a comfortable 5.8594 seconds ahead of the field.
The victory was Patrick’s first and the first by a woman in the IndyCar career. It was her 50th IndyCar start.
“It’s a long time coming,” said a crying Patrick. “Thank you to Andretti Green and to all my teammates…finally.”
She is a sweetheart.
Way to go !
19# Boobies?!?
I thought they were her air-bags.
Do they inflate if she has an accident?
#32 – I hope not. They’re just right as they are.
She is the pin-up of the day for Sunday on Cage Match. Whoa!!
Wow… This is a dumb thread.
True story: I used to date Indy/NASCAR driver Johnny O’Connell…our fav pastime was playing the old video game “Pole Position.” I used to beat him every time and he’d say: “We gotta get you behind the wheel…”
I declined…I wasn’t much into being a ‘pit tootsie’ (what they’re called) either…was kinda like hanging out in a JiffyLube all day long.
I’ve followed Danica’s progress for a few years since she came over to the UK to race in Formula Ford.
She regularly won races on circuits she’d never seen before and won the prestigious Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch.
She amazed me. She looked like a little school girl but had the most increadible commitment and fighting spirit.
She’s a fantastic talent and I for one hope that she goes on to win plenty more races and becomes a future champion.
