Oh, good. I think I’ll look into getting XP — Win98SE is starting to seriously show its age. Say, can you still get updates from MS on Win2K?

Whats with all the hating on Vista?
Pretty much all of the people I’ve met who trash it all the time haven’t actually even used it, and are just regurgitating the crap they read in the echo chamber of blogs on the net.

In the alternative, EVERYONE I know who has used Vista trashes it. I have used it, and I trash it with robust vigor.
I have never seen a more sluggish and useless piece of prettified bloatware than Vista, and it adds NOTHING that a minor tweaking of XP couldn’t have done (unless you really get off on DRM, then Vista is priceless).
CS4 Only on Vista, it truly is a sad day for designers all around the world.

I tried Vista. Not only was it a resource hog, but some of my apps like MS Money repeatedly crashed. Went back to XP and every thing’s fine. Even use XP with Parallels on my Mac.
Ive been using vista ultimate for a while now and i havent had any issues with it
