I posted the original video a few days ago and discussion followed. I received an email from a Reader, this morning, letting me know the video had been pulled at YouTube. Sure enough, I went to the Post and clicked on the video start button and got the message you see above.
If you search further, you get this message, “This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by MLB Advanced Media” – or someone from the White House called.
Now there is a queue of replacements for the original.
Thanks, Tom
This is what happens when you let the criminals write the laws. Fair use for political commentary? Not if the MAFIAA has anything to say about it.
I’m shocked there wasn’t more booing. It sounded like half cheer and half booing. Could they have tried to add cheer with the speakers, and still have the crowd be heard?
And where are the battery throwers when you need them?
How many remember that Bush was BOOED OFF THE NASCAR TRACK when he went there to court the supposed “NASCAR Dads” that were supposed to neutralize the “Soccer Moms” that were opposed to Bush ? He was booed so bad, that he was back on Air Farce One even before the race started !!! Comes from VERY LOW APPROVAL RATINGS, and will be a disaster for the Repukes in the General Elections, when EVEN MORE WILL BE WASHED OUT OF CONGRESS WHEN THE PEOPLE TAKE OUT THE TRASH !!!
I wonder if that video is floating around in cyberspace ???
#3 “will be a disaster for the Repukes in the General Elections, when EVEN MORE WILL BE WASHED OUT OF CONGRESS WHEN THE PEOPLE TAKE OUT THE TRASH !!!”
Oh, you mean the dem congress that has a LOWER approval rating than even the moron Bush?
I hate Bush like I hate syphilis… But are you sure the clip wasn’t removed because it was posted without the express written permission of Major League Baseball?
I am surprised the whitehouse.gov site doesn’t have a video with with all cheers similar to the creative editing in the missing “Mission Accomplished” banner from the aircraft carrier debacle.
lol. MAFIAA
good one.
#8 “The “we suck a bit less than the other guy” excuse is not the most comforting news I’ve heard today.”
What “side”? They’re both the same side. Corrupt politicians.
Unfortunately this video apparently was pulled due to copyright violations (a snip of a MLB broadcast).
This is where you can only hope someone at the game would videotape and post it because then the MLB could not touch it.
Wouldn’t this fall under “fair use?” Of course, that was in the America that I used to know.
BDS rears its ugly head. I would have to say that this barely qualifies it as news unless you forgot your tinfoil hate. When it comes to IP, Major League Baseball is one of the staunchest defenders (worst offenders in terms of fair use).
I remember Bush getting booed at a NASCAR race. Never seen him at another race again. I think it was Texas, but I could be wrong.
MLB and NFL are two organizations that you don’t want to mess with. If you post anything anywhere without them knowing it, their KGB agents will come and confiscate whatever it is that they claim is their’s. Then they’ll take you to court, and see that you are drained of your last cent.
Welcome to America!
And now I know it’s true!
Although I’m someone who is against the Bush administration’s policies, I still felt bad for the guy getting booed like that.
Had I been there, I’m sure I wouldn’t have booed. But I wouldn’t have cheered either. A dead silent stadium would’ve been something to behold.
#3 The reason the Congress is getting lower ratings is because they haven’t managed to find a way to reign in the Executive Branch. Its not exactly because the President is more beloved…
Correction – My preceding post was for #4, not #3.
With Bush enduring all that booing I am starting to feel a bit for him.
Ok, I got it out of my system. Booooooooo …
#17–Seth==if you think Bush Administration policies are not good, why would you not boo? Logically, only because you don’t think those policies are bad enough to warrant booing. In that assessment, you are wrong.
If you are trying to honor the office if not the man, again, you are wrong.
Keep thinking about it.

That illustrates the problem I have with professional sports — they want FUNDING like a PARKS PROJECT but then they want to RUN it like a PRIVATE CORPORATION, with no personal freedoms.
Either we taxpayers have to stop funding them, OR the teams have to start being accountable to the public.
