well its true, same thing happened to my male cousin. A guy just walked up to him and asked for directions. While he didnt even come too close to the guy and the next thing he knows , his wallet is gone. Just like that.

I can think of another: co-conspirator.
I am a certified hypnotherapist, and I am doubting this story. He may have confused this woman to the point where her conscious mind went on tilt for a moment, but it is not likely that she would just allow him to take the money from the register. Even if she were hypnotized it is not likely that she would respond to a suggestion to give him the money.
