Surgeons at UC San Diego Medical Center have performed what is believed to be the country’s first removal of a diseased appendix through the mouth…

“The purpose of this clinical trial is to test more ‘patient-focused’ techniques for minimally invasive surgery,” said Mark A. Talamini, M.D.. “UC San Diego Medical Center is testing groundbreaking ways in which to perform surgery with fewer incisions, less pain, and more rapid recoveries…”

“Only one small incision to insert a small camera in the belly button was required to complete the surgery versus three incisions required for a laparoscopic procedure,” said Horgan. “The patient was discharged 20 hours after surgery and is now reporting minimal pain which is a goal for all of our patients.”

I wonder if they’ve considered alternative routes?

Where did you get the “Portrait” of Bush ?

Missing in Action on 9/11 and now, the economy Stupid !!!

  3. roemun says:

It took just two comments before one of the DU geniuses polticized a wholly non-partisan post. I pity those who are propelled through their existence by vitriol, as a pinball by a flipper, both mindless and heading for the hole.

  4. JimD says:

Sorry, I couldn’t let it pass !!! But I hope you don’t believe that Bush is our “Bestest President Ever” !!!

  5. admfubar says:

and a third comment to complain about the politicalization.

  6. Balbas says:

Now if only they could have breast implants through the navel …

  7. Eideard says:

Actually, a lot of breast augmentation is done through the armpit.

  8. Brock says:

Funny, I thought the picture was of Al Gore.

It’s interesting he’s now MIA. I haven’t heard anything out of him regarding Montreal’s winter snowfall record. Oh, sorry I forgot, it’s not global warming, it climate change. Duuhhh.

Guess that UN plan for global taxes is off the table.
