I found this on Craig’s List. Apparently, the poster thinks only her neighbors can access the site. Of course it could be worse, it could have said “garage.”

Reminds me of when my dog got out. How did I track it down? With the internet!

  2. bobbo says:

Chicken Little Lives – – and is posting crap like this!!

Please be specific and tell us just what you think is wrong with this ad and what should be done instead?

    Silly.

((((Not to wreck my own opinion, just last week I emailed a response to Craigs List for sale and it turned out to be a youngish girl. After agreeing on the price, I wanted to make sure the electronics worked. The girl could not figure out how to let me see the equipment without exposing herself to a stranger, so that sale could not go thru. I’m sure she would support your position===BE AFRAID!!, BE VERY AFRAID!!!!))))

If you can’t figure it out from what I underlined and wrote, you’re way beyond my help.

  4. bobbo says:

#4–SN==Thanks. I saw the red line as trying to coverup the “Its not OK” line. Ok–you mean no property location should be included for fear of burglary? Fair enough if the poster is a REAL idiot.

Near could be a half mile away in any direction with the garage door closed after the picture is taken?

Not much of a risk in my view. Needless exposure to very ambitious burglars is always a touch stone though.

Reminds me of the urban legend of someone wanting to get rid of a wash/dry combo so they posted it “for free” to take away===no takers. So he put it on the curb with a “For Sale” sign, and it was gone in one hour.

    Still. . . . . . . (?)

  5. stormcoder says:

bobbo, where is “Phils Store”? Couldn’t resist.

  6. morram says:

I wonder if they’re still available

  7. bobbo says:

#7–morram==I actually have a pair that looks exactly like the two pictured. Haven’t been used since I moved.

I live exactly .6 miles North of the old fruit stand on sunrise blvd. You can pick them up or pay for shipping.

Please don’t refer my information to Craig’s list.

  8. Booshtukka says:

#5 I hope to God you actually get the point of this, and being deliberately obtuse.

Off topic, but this is a prediction from Ladies Home Journal of life in 100 years, published in 1900. They did very well, with one of the misses being that shopping would be done through tubes.
