The application deadline is March 15, however if more time is needed for the application process, please contact Senator Craig’s office for an extension. Craig offers paid internships within the Washington, D.C., office. Preference is given to Idaho applicants attending Idaho schools who are in their junior or senior years of college (including graduating seniors).
‘”Interns have the chance to be an essential part of a working congressional office,” said Craig. “They participate in the legislative process as well as ensure that constituent services run smoothly. For those interested in politics, it is an incredible opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at how our government functions while serving the people of Idaho.”
Har!
[rimshot]
Pardon the pun.
Do they have to share the restroom with him?
the guy clearly isn’t too bright. if he was soliciting homosexual favors in that restroom, and there’s something about his behavior that he can’t control
a) a straight aid will file a sexual harassment complaint AND go to the media to out him publicly
b) a gay aid will go straight to the media and out him publicly
Even if he does absolutely nothing untoward, it’s not altogether unlikely that the scenarios above could be done falsely against him by someone who’s just an opportunist.
Either way, he has about a 1% chance of not being toast by year’s end.
#3 – a) a straight aid will file a sexual harassment complaint AND go to the media to out him publicly
b) a gay aid will go straight to the media and out him publicly
I don’t know about the whole “behavior he can’t control thing.” I don’t mind his desire for gay sex. I mind him being a hypocrite, in being a hatemonger against gay citizens.
But I have to ask you… If he harasses a straight intern and a gay intern, why would only the straight intern file a lawsuit?
By your logic, I should be allowed to sexually harass women in my office because both I and the woman are straight. Being gay doesn’t mean you are obligated to accept unwanted advances from other gay men.
Idaho? No you da ho!
There is a high likelihood of him picking a woman. He will do what he can to get accused by her of harassment.
In that way, he will be vindicated for not being “gay” . I had to nail a girl once in high school to make up for nailing a guy. It’s a well known trick.
Dallas you horny bastard!
I am SHOCKED! Shocked I tell you! that the Republican’s have not spent $7 million + investigating and removing him from office.
Now just a minute! Isn’t there a slim chance this is all legitimate and above board? That this man deserves a break? That it’s a superb opportunity for students to learn about government?
That people are really enjoying those Hillary / Obama commercials in Feb., too?
That this fine govt. official does not deserve the BRDDA?
Is one of the job requirements the ability to assume a wide stance?
I can’t get enough of the BRDDA!
Why not work for Craig? Given his past, he will probably (hopefully) be on his best behavior. Not to mention that he will in all likelihood be booted from office sooner than later, which will open the opportunity for career advancement!
@James Hill
You forgot to work the word “hack” into that sentence.
Hey James Hill, isn’t he from your camp?
A safe job for teenaged girls, as its very unlikely that Sen. Craig would have much interest in sexy teenaged girls. His fires tend to be towards young male adonis types from the planet of milk-fed boys.
