I like that very last part. “Is that Camera on? I better not find myself on u…” I assume YouTube finishes that sentence.
I find it interesting that you cannot hear what the kid is saying that is pissing the cop off. Clearly the cop over reacted. You don’t need to throw a 14 year-old into a headlock and take his skateboard because he called you “dude.”
Unfortunately, cops don’t feel they get the respect they deserve, and they get bent out of shape. Which, in turn, makes people disrespect them more.
A few tips from the ACLU:
* Be polite and respectful. Never bad-mouth a police officer.
* Upon request, show them your driver’s license, registration and proof of insurance.
* Stay calm and in control of your words, body language and emotions.
* Don’t get into an argument with the police. Remember, anything you say or do can be used against you.
* Keep your hands where the police can see them.
* Don’t run. Don’t touch the police officer.
* Don’t complain on the scene or tell the police they’re wrong or that you are going to file a complaint.
* Remember officers’ badge and patrol card numbers.
* If you feel your rights have been violated, file a written complaint with the police department’s internal affairs division or civilian complaint board.

This guy is a 17-year veteran of the force. This tells you his type are totally acceptable in the force. How else could he have been on the force 17 years? Is taking the skateboard from that kid in the manner he did so consider assault? I know I would think it was an attack. That guy is a heck of a lot bigger then those kids. the way in which he came at them was extremely aggressive. This guy is going to be in big trouble with his boss.

The story also said he didn’t know he was being recorded, but at the end of the video he clearly saw that he was (if not for the whole event then only for a little while).
Officer Rivereri demands respect, looking like a bumblebee. Fat chance. The man is obviously a total ass i all respects. The way he get fired up over some 14 year olds on skateboard is anal retentiveness beyond imagination. Poor Baltimore for harboring such underachievers. Hope the guy gets his but kicked – and find himself behind bars.

This is one of the reasons why some people in the UK are ok about CCTV. When you can’t do anything at the time, afterwards you can make sure that justice is served.
It doesn’t stop the reason why this excuse for a policeman lashed out at a child. Those are the things we have to look at next.

I have seen shit like this in China only they’re not skateboarders but some idiot riding a bike where one is not meant to ride and also they tend to go at it from both sides. I call it “Chinese Traditional Street Drama”
