An animal rights group placed a tombstone with a hidden message in Cave Hill Cemetery, the graveyard in which the founder of KFC is interred. The grave marker was originally approved by the cemetery, but officials said they were tricked. Now they want it removed.

The headstone is actually not meant to be a memorial for a person. Instead, it’s for animals — all part of a scheme by PETA, or People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. At first glance, the tombstone looks like any other grave marker. But a closer look at the epitaph reveals a deeper meaning. A seemingly innocuous poem is inscribed on the headstone, but when read vertically; the first letter of each line spells out “KFC Tortures Birds.” The plot purchased by PETA, with living PETA member Matthew Prescott’s name on it, is strategically located near the memorial of Kentucky Fried Chicken founder, Col. Harland Sanders.“We believe that this is directed at Col. Sanders and KFC, and again, if we had known this in advance we would not have permitted this,” said Barr.

When does PETA lose the right to use the word Ethical in their name? The other day I heard someone refer to them as lacking higher thinking skills. Sounds about right.
Had I seen that tombstone I probably would have come back after dark and squeezed out a nice smelly loaf of fully-digested chicken, right on top.
Last year, DNA extracted from a Tyrannosaurus bone directly linked to the modern day chicken.

PETA is just a bunch assholes. Watch the Penn & Teller Bullshit episode about them. One of them uses a medicine that is created from animals. Fu**in losers!!!!

You know what REALLY SCARES me about PETA? Someone is giving them a LOT of money to spread this weirdness. I would love one day to have a list of these kooks and find out why they think this is doing anyone any good.
For an even better idea, how about the PETA people save some chickens and donate themselves to the food chain? (Chickens eating PETA members!)
Not to beat a dead chicken, but about PETA scaring me, how about this quote from the article, “Col. Sanders has a monument in Cave Hill Cemetery and he is an icon of cruelty,” said Rajt. “Certainly the nearly 1 billion chickens that are tortured and killed for KFC restaurants each year are more deserving than him.”
These PETA crazies truly believe that chickens are worth more than people.

The Colonel used to, the conglomerate that own KFC on the other hand found out that if you BURN the peppercorns the right way you can emulate several of the spices.

The state of Virginia is considering naming the PETA animal shelter there as a *slaughter house* because they have euthenized all but 12 of the 3200 dogs given to them for care. When asked how killing the dogs instead of finding them homes, the PETA person said they were better off dead.
These are some sick bastards. My group will not work with them, or allow them to use our facilities.
