Furrowed brows over Botox hard sell – timesonline.co.uk: Marketing tactics are being used to pressure potential customers into having cosmetic treatments such as Botox, according to a report by the consumer group Which? Undercover researchers found clinics trying to rush customers into having surgery and unqualified sales people giving out inaccurate information.

Ploys included offering time-sensitive discounts and encouraging customers to book early to get money off.
Some clinic staff described invasive surgery as “scarless” and one sales assistant even showed her breasts to a Which? researcher to make a sale.

Hum… I guess it pays to be a researcher sometimes.
