I think that happened several months ago, but I don’t remember where it happened.
I think there was a water main or sewer leak that wasn’t fixed. The collapse wasn’t in Florida or Kentucky, or other places built on limestone that regularly have collapses from cave formation (real sinkholes).

#12: How do you know it’s been covered up? The Google Earth view looks like from before the sinkhole opened. The damaged buildings are intact. It can take years between GE updates. I can still see my car parked outside the store I used to own in Reno, and I sold the store four years ago.

That hole reminds me of the entire Republican Party platform. There is something there and you better be afraid of it. When you take a closer look though, it is just air and no substance.

I think its funny..
I re-roofed my home, and the Image on Google, showed my new roof, until about 1 year ago..It went Back before the roof repair..
for the record…. I was actually meaning that quite positively in that the hole had been covered up (since the PICTURE) was more than 8 months old. I assumed since they were copyright 2007 that they were from sometime this year. I realise its arbitrary to stamp everything with the current date but I used to think these ‘stitches’ all had a year taken watermark in them.
