Actually, it’s GREAT right now. And with only 425 days until the Chimperor in Chief scurries off with his tail between his legs, it’s only going to get better. Doctor Evil would have been a better president than the dimwit we’ve got there now.

Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, Dumbya.

  11. KevinL says:

    #10 Mr. Mustard

I consider myself a moderate based on my voting record. How I vote depends on who is running and the level of government. If you are a hardline liberal, it can’t be good if you are left with the choice of a black man or a woman (especially Hillary). In this country, neither of those are electable. Not that that is right, but it is true at this point in time. Similar to any candiate who is not from one of the two main parties. No chance at all for any of the other parties even if the candiate might be the best choice.

  12. Matt Garrett says:

Bush Derangement Syndrome … a purported tendency by some American liberals to blame President George W. Bush for virtually every ill in the world. It also purportedly refers to opposing a position advocated by the President just because he supports it, regardless of the position’s merits.

When you’re guggling so many lies and deceptions, on a daily basis. It’s difficult to sound intellegent all the time. Or even at all, for some. Bush isn’t very convincing. So he fakes it by pretending to be smart, and ending up sounding dumb. Never having been an actor or a lawyer, you can’t very well expect him to lie with a straight face.

I don’t consider myself a “hardline liberal”, just a person with some common sense. And a black man or a white woman might not have been electable in the ’90s, but after eight years of the worst “leader” in modern times, I think the sky’s the limit. I’d have no problem voting for a black man or a white woman (even Hillary). I’d rather see Kucinich win, but I’m afraid he truly IS unelectable.

Mark my words, Kev. The country has been badly burned by eight years with a chimpanzee in office, and they’re looking for someone with at least a double-digit IQ.

And Rudy “9/11! 9/11! 9/11! 9/11!” Giuliani isn’t going to cut the mustard (so to speak). With his cousin/ wife, his left-leaning views on reproductive rights, and his gay roomates, he’s alienated the usual hatemongering, holy roller, xenophobe base of the Republican party. They’re not going to vote for him, and us libs CERTAINLY aren’t going to vote for him.

So hold onto your hat. The reign of terror is almost over. 425 days.

  16. Andy says:

“The reign of terror is almost over. 425 days.”

He’s still got plenty of time to change the Constitution to allow for a third term. I’m not counting that it’s over until the door hits him on the ass on the way out.

Tell that to all the Americans killed in Iraq.

Tell that to all those who lost someone on 9/11 and believed Bush when he said we would get bin Laden.

Tell that to all those who have lost a good paying job in the Bush Economy.

Tell that to all those without health insurance.

Tell that to those in New Orleans.

Tell that to all the innocents held without charge in Gitmo.

Tell that to all the people kidnapped off the streets and sent to another country to be tortured.

Tell that to all those looking at bankruptcy because of excessive medical bills not covered by their insurance.

Tell that to all those trying to decide between putting gas in the car or buying food.

Tell that to all those who believe in the power of law.

I’d say his best moment was blocking funding for some embryonic stem cell research. It runs out the scientists can get what they want without the embryos, but for the left it was never about science but about abortion politics.

Yes, yes, all those things, you are correct. But aside from all that, how did you enjoy the play, Mrs. Lincoln?

    #12 – Matt Garrett

    “Bush Derangement Syndrome … a purported tendency…”

That’s right, ‘purported,’ since it doesn’t actually exist except in the minds of Bush supporters in denial…

“…by some American liberals to blame President George W. Bush for virtually every ill in the world.”

No, not ‘every ill in the world’; just the stupid and despicable things he and his corrupt pluto/theocrat cronies and dupes have done to America and to other places and people in America’s name.

“…It also purportedly refers to opposing a position advocated by the President just because he supports it, regardless of the position’s merits.”

Yes, again with the ‘purportedly’ – (you really like that word, don’t you? Y’know, you’ll like it even more when you eventually look it up and find out it doesn’t mean what you think it does.) Opposing any position(s) of W’s is always a safe bet, since any “merit” they may have is purely theoretical, the reality being that little-to-nothing he does or has done is ever for the benefit of anyone other than the 300,000 wealthiest American investors, invariably at the expense of the other ~299.7 MegaAmericans.

Must really sting, backing a loser/shithead like that, eh, Mark? No wonder you’re so bitter. 🙂

Mark = Matt , in my last. But yew knew that already…

  28. pepperjack says:

Bush will go down in history as one of greatest Presidents of all time.

His biggest mistake was not the Iraq war, not tax cuts, but the “new tone” he tried to employ with the Dems, the left bit his arm off at the elbow when he extended his hand in reconciliation. He expanded government at a rate every lib should be praising and would have lauded to the heavens if a Democrat had lorded over for the same expansion of Federal Services and our stellar economy.

As a matter of fact the libs and media would also be on board with our war on terror and it’s focal point, Iraq if a Dem such as Golden Bill was still in office.

It is a glaring double standard and disingenuous to the nth degree.

  29. the Three-Headed Cat says:
