Dinosaur Found With Vacuum-Cleaner Mouth – washingtonpost.com

A dinosaur with a strange jaw designed to hoover-up food grazed in what is now the Sahara Desert 110 million years ago. Remains of the creature that “flabbergasted” paleontologist Paul Sereno went on display Thursday at the headquarters of the National Geographic Society, where they will remain until March.

Now we know why the Sahara is the Sarhara Desert.

Well, I’m not certain and too lazy to Wiki it, but I thought the Sahara was, at least a few thousand years back, rather fertile and lush…

#1 – I want to slap you for choosing the politically neutral area of paleontology to take a swipe at the character of the average American… but then I realized that not only do I agree, but I have been known to, on occasion, belly up to the trough myself… So you go right ahead with the bashing 🙂

    #1&#3 – And what’s wrong with that? If you don’t consume it it’s not a resource and if it’s not a resource it’s useless…….

  5. OhForTheLoveOf says:

    #4 – Dude… You are nuts.

  6. Fabrizio says:

Here’s a reconstruction of the beast:
    Nigersaurus

Always easier to go to the source of the data!

    🙂

The Vacuum Cleaner Could soon be as extinct as the Dinosaur. It will be replaced by the air Recycling Cleaner. If you don’t believe me take a look at the web page http://www.edginton.info/arc
