Tampa – Shatavia Kendricks did exactly what school officials say students should do. She told the principal that 33-year-old Christina Butler, a teacher, was having sex with a student.
But instead of calling the police, the school suspended the girl for spreading rumors.
“I said, ‘When we were in the class, she used to let him hold her cell phone and the keys to her car,'” Kendricks says.
And it was those keys that Tampa police say led to Butler’s arrest Tuesday night. They discovered the relationship when they pulled over some kids in a blue Jeep. The Jeep belongs to Butler.
Now Butler faces a charge of felony lewd and lascivious battery after police say she admitted to having sex with the student no more than a dozen times.
This is a classic “he said, she said” story. (or in this case, she said, she said.”
As to rape:
Victim advocates that almost NO rape victims lie.
The other says that people lie all the time about rape.
My gut feeling is that women rarely lie about rape but it clearly does happen. Still, the system should be weighted in favor of those reporting rape.
If I was that girl I would have brought a butter knife into school and showed them who was boss!

She reported statutory rape and she got punished for it. Why are americans so mean to whistleblowers? Whistleblowers save us money, stop crime, end corruption yet we seem to think a code of silence is a better option. Peeps, this isn’t maximum security prison, its okay to “fink” on someone else, especially if they’re committing numerous felonies.

In black street society today *finking* (as you call it) is a much more horrible crime than whatever crime it is your reporting. The code reqires blacks to NEVER report ANYTHING to the authorities(not just police) because it’s betraying your people for the white cause.
In reality it’s how the street thugs and druggies and killers get away with what they do. They could give a rats ass about *black society*, they only prize money and power. But they have convinced a whole population to protect them. It’s very disheartening to see so many kids believe this bile and help these animals destroy their future.

You are so right, my friend. Black society in this country is in trouble more than it has ever been. Token trophy black “celebrities” pretend that equality exists because some jerk can afford a big car and some jewelry while black kids have no encouragement to perform in school or in life. The youth is taught that being educated is “acting white” and being illiterate and stupid is okay as long as people are afraid of you.
Our school system isn’t helping either, with idiotic zero-tolerance rules, teaching for test, and the generally low expectations extended to any student not conforming creating further damage. That school’s administration should be censured at the very least, and fired if there was any justice.

If I was that kid’s parents, I would be on the phone with the DA demanding a GJ indictment for witness intimidation.
When a third of your community is in jail, and many of the local economic opportunities involve lawbreaking, is it any wonder the inner city community (not really just blacks) is so against ‘finking’? But this is not a ghetto, this is a school administration in a suburban school district. Really, there is no excuse for this behavior.
