Despite this other article which says the one below is crap, I have to say, just walking on the Strip here in Vegas where people from all around the country come, I think this split has already occurred.

All this being said, my descendants will belong to the Eloi tribe.
As a former member of Mensa (stopped paying the dues) I can say that there are rich Mensans and poor Mensans and every economic level between. Just because you have a high IQ (ie, you are good at passing a particular kind of test) doesn’t mean you have the interest, drive, etc to get into a high-paying job. You could have the ability to dissect and discuss the most complex problem, but have no skills at business.
I would say that more Mensans have the “potential” to become wealthy if they want to than the rest of the population, but that is as far as I would go.
