Ugh, I really can’t stand conspiracy theorists. Manipulating the facts so they fall in line with your ideology is truly lazy thinking. Miles, you’re so right, this has nothing to do with the “truth.” No matter how much someone might dislike Bush, facts still trump hard feelings.
I have to agree that Romney handled himself well. It is nice to see a candidate in a situation where the crowd isn’t hand picked to only ask them the questions they are prepared to answer. When is the last time Bush actually had to answer a question that wasn’t canned?
What the hell do the 9/11 truthers think is going to happen even if they are proven right?
Lets suppose evidence comes out that the Bush/Cheney administration planned 9/11 from the start and that it was all a huge conspiracy from the start to gain more power for the executive brance and money for their friends. What would happen? Nothing!
We already have overwhelming evidence that Bush/Cheney lied to everybody about Iraq so they could justify starting a war there, The Iraq war has been far more expensive and has resulted in far more American deaths (not to mention Iraqi deaths now estimated to exceed 1 million) than 9/11 ever was. Have Bush/Cheney been punished for these provable crimes? Nope!
So whats the point of the 9/11 truthers? What do they hope will happen with further investigation? Either they will be proven wrong and look like idiots, or proven right and no one will care.
Meanwhile, the “truthers” have infiltrated anti-war groups and impeach Bush/Cheney groups and other liberal and libertarian organizations, and often make these legitimate cause organizations look foolish for having people like this in them.

Hmm, I don’t think Bill really went ‘nuts’, he was basically doing his job; or rather someone else’s job. It’s helpful when your boss gives you clear direction, ya know? And it was a nice bit of drama, too.
Mitt clearly dealt honestly and fairly with his audience; kudos for him! And it was nice getting a clear shot of one of these ‘Truthers’. Why oh why can’t these folks, for whatever odd causes they’re persuing, show up clean shaven and dressed well? C’mon, your motif is blown, man!
Finally, whoever (sam) made the anti-semitic remark, crawl back under your rock; stay there, and please don’t breed.
I could name a few more for number 20 to chew on. How about ellen degenerat and jon stewart and that other fake news guy on comedy central too. I think number 16 was merely asking for more diversity. Or maybe he was asking a simple question about statistics. Also about building seven a fire from a generator brought that building down. No conspiracy about it.
It’s obvious, isn’t it? 9/11 was pulled of by a secret cabal of architecture critics, in cahoots with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. The WTC buildings were reviled from the day they went up (and only loved after they were destroyed), and the Pentagon violates the principles of Feng Shui in so many ways as to be begging for attack. All the buildings were wired by non-union workers.
Why didn’t the 9/11 Commission interrogate I.M. Pei and Frank Gehry? Because five of its members commissioned houses by those same architects!
Ayn Rand predicted all these events in “The Fountainhead.” Who was Fed chairman on 9/11/2001? Rand-acolyte Alan Greenspan, who just happened to have huge short positions in the markets (via off-shore hedge funds) on that day!
What I want to know is how did that bridge in Minneapolis St Paul come down??? That thing wasn’t even on fire.

If you look at the NIST letter in the PDF linked to on that page, it gets even sillier.

Guy Fawkes, Colonel Panic – I’ve read the NIST report, and sorry – it doesn’t support your case.
All it says that COULD support your case is that “there are unanswered questions” about the towers. But that isn’t particularly surprising, considering the size and magnitude of the event.
Any article that contains the terms “free fall” when talking about any of the towers that fell (including 7) can safely be dismissed. Why? Because they didn’t free fall. They were slower than free fall.
It you don’t believe that (or the video evidence that supports it, and the numerous engineering reports that say that)… then there is no hope for you.
27. Funny how the whole argument centered around the steel beams melting (or weakening) around 1800 degrees, and yet the report states that it never reached more than 250 deg Centigrade (approx 500 deg Farenheight). What changed?
Also strange (again) there is no determination by NIST on he collapse of buiding 7, as promised. Its been 6 years. WTF are they waiting for?
If you want to know what drives people who believe in conspiracy you need only look at religion. It is simply a form of faith with no logic or facts. I do believe, however, that people should be allowed to think and do what they want (for the most part). The real problem that I have with this movement (9|11 truth) is it takes away with the real political issues and criticisms that could be brought against Bush if it were not for this misguided attempt by a select group of individuals to reinvent the truth for political gain.
If there is a real conspiracy it might be that the Bush administration is paying these people to provide political redirection for him. It keeps his central message from being taken off point and challenged. This of course is nonsense, and in reality his administration is just very capable of using people like this to their own advantage.

There is no democracy in the US, we never had it, we never will. Democracy is an utopian ideal like communism.
in 1789 we institued a REPUBLIC not a democracy. Now it may have democratic reforms, but in no way shape or form are we a democracy, nor could we be with the size and population we have. It would be burdensome to say the least.
So let’s drop the red, white and blue coloured glasses and flag waving. There are NO democracies on this planet. It doesn’t work.

#30 Do you get your calculations and ideas From Judy Wood who says Space Beams brought down the towers. The collapse of the towers did not take ten seconds. It took longer. The dust happened because of the horrible amount of kinetic energy that was stored in in the towers themselves. The collapse followed the laws of physics exactly. Why do you need to enter into the collapse equation of the World Trade Centers any more energy than was already present? This belief in the 911 NWO conspiracy does nothing but discredit any other legitimate concerns about the direction that the country is taking that you may have. You are not helping
