great review 🙂 I never understood the obsession over the Halo series anyway, it was just another FPS to me with another short single-player mode…but then again maybe I’ve played way more shooters than the average console gamer and grew tired of the genre years ago.

Obviously you’re a gamer that plays through the game with a “strategy guide” (read: ‘Please hold my hand and show me everything because I hate figuring stuff out for myself) and then watch all the cut-scenes you missed on YouTube.

Unfortunately I didn’t read the warning about coarse language until after I’d watched the review and I was really shocked to hear such words as “shit” and “fuck”. Is this really considered acceptable in Australia? Anyway, the guy sounds more British than Australian. I would’ve expected more of a Brit. Really disappointed.
I have watched the other Zero Punctuation reviews online. All of them are just as frenetic and funny. Definitely worth a few minutes to watch them all.

FPS Fanboyz claim it puts the final nail in the lid of PS3’s coffin… when most Xbox360 owners haven’t even bought it – and never will.
If it isn’t considered a “must have” for the majority of Xbox360 owners, why should the majority of PS3 owners consider it a “must have”??
And when Metal Gear Solid 4 finally makes its debut – assuming it isn’t following in the footsteps of legendary vaporware like “Duke Nukem” – the PS3 fanboyz will be equally insufferable. 🙂
