Very cool! Hopefully they’ll be able to make a color version of it.

#1 – WOW, porn can reach a new level now!

    Obvious application. 😉

Where’s the cheesy Microsoft version (like the ZunePhone and MS Ipod)!

  4. Mig-21 says:

    That is awesome!

  5. Pierre says:

That spinning mirror system looks noisy. Is that why the demo has no sound?

  6. Cinaedh says:

I wonder how long it’s going to take for this new wonder to become old, obsolete technology? Five years?

#5 They were all probably going…

    “F*cking hell that looks f*cking great! F*ck yeah motherf*cker who’s the f*cking man now?”

and so on…therefore no sound. 😉

    Cheers

How long before the contraption is made of extremely lightweight yet strong materials so it can pop out of an iPhone to allow non-iPhone users to finally bite-the-bullet and buy one?

This is not very impressive. Holography could simulate this type of visual movement back in the 90s.
All true 3-D images need a medium to project the information. Mid-air imaging cannot be obtained without breaking the laws of physics.

But I’m sure if you package the “gee-wiz” factor, clever marketing can sell anything to moronic consumers.

  10. FRAGaLOT says:

Holograms back in the 90s looks more like cardboard cut outs standing in space, and it was difficult to look at, and wasn’t very 3D.
