Video from a pool in Tokyo, where the people inside the pool move with the artificial waves.

  1. Misanthropic Scott says:

Wow. This is as good to me as McD’s & Disney. I love it. Get thousands of people I don’t want to meet to go somewhere I don’t want to go. Yay!!

  2. mark says:

I think the guy in the third row, about midway, peed in the pool.

  3. Eeewwww Stinky says:

I would imaging the “pee” level in the pool is off the charts. 😛

  4. Improbus says:

    Insane!

  5. KVolk says:

Who has the bottle of dramamine?

  6. Jägermeister says:

Just imagine the dude in the center getting the runs… but some parks got sign against that.

  7. JD says:

I do not envy the lifeguards at that waterpark…

  8. Tom says:

OMFG! Can anyone let the people of Tokyo that there’s plenty of room in the rest of the world? Spread out! Maybe start passing out condoms while you’re at it.

  9. Micromike says:

For some reason I find it very disturbing, like an image of hell on earth complete with sound. I think I would freak out if I were forced be in that place.

  10. TIHZ_HO says:

No doubt about it. If you need a somewhere that make you say WTF there is no place like Japan!

    #3 Maybe its all pee… 😉

#6 Action reaction – It probably started with “Please do not pee in the…” and escalated from there! You know because of lawyers now everything needs to be spelled out in America. “The Dumbing of America”

#8 For SOME REASON? LOL You needed to think about it?

    Cheers

So true. Ever watched Idiocracy? It was meant as an entertaining movie about a really dumbed down future… it sounds like documentary. 😉

    I forgot… I loved the link! 😀

  13. bobbo says:

I was in Yosemite one fine glorious day and a bus load of Japanese tourists unloaded in a parking lot. About 50 of them==they huddled together as a group just as if they were in that pool. A few moved 5 feet away to take a picture, but then went right back to the group.

I believe they were WW2 veterans and believed the propaganda that all USA folks have cooties?

  14. Lifeguard says:

Pee, so what? It’s fairly sterile, fairly gross, but relatively safe.

You forgot (here we go): dead skin, hair, mucus, body oils, toe jam, sweat, zits, spit, scabs, band-aids, fecal matter, vaginal excretions, parasites, bacteria, virii? Mmmm… human soup with all the trimmings!

With that many bodies using up all the chlorine and/or bromine, urine is the least of their problems…

  15. tikiloungelizard says:

I would have nausea and claustrophobia at the same time. When I was a kid in Arizona we had Big Surf, one of the first places with artificial waves that people would surf on (it’s still there), but there never anywhere near this many people in the water.
