  1. Len says:

I like the bubbling. Keep it!

  2. julieb says:

    Yea, keep the bubbling.

I don’t think it bothers anyone. Some just commented that it sounded like a bong. As someone who has used a bong extensively, I have to disagree. It’s similar, but not the same.

  3. JoaoPT says:

Yeah… I’m going to put the same gurgling Sound playing when I read Google News myself…

  4. RTaylor says:

How about a sound track from a 70’s porn flick as background noise? ๐Ÿ˜‰

  5. iGlobalWarmer says:

This is the real Bubbling Cauldron:

  6. TIHZ_HO says:

LOL I actually filtered and processed the bubbles OUT of the last broadcast and sent the clip to John thinking the bubbles were an unwanted artifact.from the original sound recording, not knowing he put it there in the first place!

    Duh oh!! ๐Ÿ˜€

    Cheers

  7. Hey I might use THAT cauldron!!! WOW.

  8. Gasparrini says:

John, I sincerely hope that you are joking ๐Ÿ˜‰

#5, the persons that made that audio file should eat more fibre. I hope nobody lighted a match during the recording…

  9. Mister Mustard says:

    >>LOL I actually filtered and processed the bubbles OUT
    >>of the last broadcast and sent the clip to John

Gosh, you’ve got a lot of spare time on your hands. Think you could mow my lawn? ๐Ÿ˜‰

  10. Mister Mustard says:

    Yuck. Stereo farting? That’s disgusting.

I support continued use of the original cauldron, now that I know what it is (sort of).

iGlobalWarmer, you should be taken to Singapore and caned for even KNOWING WHERE TO FIND something like that. I just hope to hell you weren’t the mix-master.

  11. iGlobalWarmer says:

#10 I was almost punished by driving off the road with laughter when they played that on the air. For those who are interested: go to the station site under morning show/bits&audio and you can find a piece already extracted that’s suitable for use as a ringtone.

  12. BT says:

Leave the cauldron… it just sounded weird at first… but it is not bad… I guess I just had bong hits on the brain or something…

  13. KVolk says:

I like the broadcast but the sound effects combined with John sounding like he is on quaaludes makes it pretty hard not to tune it out. But it is good background to have on while reading the blog.
