Whoa dude, don’t cry, no one is trying to make your little toy computers look bad.
um… I think he was being sarcastic, number 2. (btw, who does number 2 work for?)
iDON’TCARE
iAMTIRED of all of the iHYPE
what is this iPhone thing?
pj
can anyone unlock Leo Laporte’s lips from apple’s corporate ass?
#7 at least he’s better than Kevin rose. his lips are locked around their corporate shaft.
Just because you can’t afford the “in” device is no reason to get pissy.
The ‘in’ device?
heh, nice one. There are many devices out there that are better performers than the iPhone, and many more coming. Why do you think apple is already readying v2.0 of the iPhone? They never bring out replacement products this quickly.
Just for the record, anyone dumb enough to leave the IR/Bluetooth port on their cellphones open and then go strut down the street deserves to get it hacked.
Hi. I’m not very tech-savvy, but this sounds interesting.
What is the point in “unlocking” a cell phone? Do you get more abilities, free minutes, or what?
14: Goofy, Unlocking it lets you put applications on it, or a picture of your wife. it may also allow third party developers to put photos of your wife on it too.
stay tuned.
No free minutes, you wife used all them up calling pluto or was it micky?
Anything that pisses Steve Jobs off is good.
#10 – Being the in device has nothing to do with being the best device. It’s all about marketing and positioning, which Apple clearly does better than the rest of the industry.
As for the quality of the device, it’s top notch. Version 2 is all about getting a larger segment of the market, which is the same game plan they followed with the iPod.
The fact they’re doing it faster is more a sign of confidence than concern.
Thanks for playing.
#20 – Yes, they are just morons… looking for attention. And what a better way to do that than against the “in” device?
This really is simple to understand.
I think the better question is how many phones out there make it so easy to patch. You can’t be so dumb as to think there are no other phones that need patches, can you?
Well, maybe…
Just owned you. Again. Why do you even post here?
