This was awesome! Like a modern kind of rodeo. It requires lots of skills in my opinion in order to make this recovery.

  2. blafusel says:

Actually, the bike always wants to drive straight. The rider is what’s upsetting bike’s physics. Kudos for holding on and not changing the bike’s direction though!

  3. Gig says:

…And a huge amount of luck.

  4. Dallas says:

Afterwards, he said “I meant to do that.”

  5. JimR says:

The ability to make that recovery was the direct result of experience… skill.

    How fast was that?
If the sound track said, sorry watching at work with the sound off.

Whoa. I would take up paddle boating after an experience like that.

#8 – I guess I should put a disclaimer with all videos. I search the net looking for interesting videos. I never know if they’re new or old. The Internet is a huge place and there are millions of videos on it. The majority of them suck. I try to find videos for this site that are humorous, interesting, educational or just plain weird. If you have seen it before, just ignore it this time. You probably haven’t seen the next one.

At least seven out of nine who commented had not seen this before… that’s 77.8%.

  11. JimR says:

I hadn’t seen it before. hhopper does a great job of sifting through the crap for us… not something I particularly enjoy to do. I don’t care how old it was, it was awesome.

  12. TJGeezer says:

11 – I agree. Thanks for being a superior filter, hhopper.

  13. MacBandit says:

touch touchy. No need to take offense.

  14. Read the posting guideline Ma\cbandit
    http://www.dvorak.org/blog/misc/commentguidelines.html

    this paragraph in particular:

    WHAT DOESN’T GET APPROVED

“Time-related criticism such as “This is old news and was on Uncle Ben’s blog two weeks ago.” This has no positive value to the readers and is insulting. Everything on a blog has usually appeared someplace else at some time.”

  15. MacBandit says:

Okay I will refrain to say that this video is old in the future then. I will say then that this near crash as seen in this video happenedin the late 70s early 80s.

  16. Mr. Fusion says:

I haven’t seen most of these videos before. Those that I have seen though are quite often worth watching again. If it isn’t worth watching again (in my taste) then the next one will be worth it.

Age only matters to those still trying to grow up.
