U.S. Bible-based museum drop ‘Adam’ video after actor’s risque past revealed — I am now convinced that this crazy museum will be the source of never-ending fun posts!

A man who plays Adam in a video aired at a Bible-based creationist museum in Kentucky has led a different life outside the Garden of Eden, flaunting his sexual exploits online and modeling for a clothing line that promotes free love.

After learning about his activities Thursday, the Creation Museum pulled the 40-second video in which he appears.

“We are currently investigating the veracity of these serious claims of his participation in projects that don’t align with the biblical standards and moral code upon which the ministry was founded,” Answers for Genesis spokesman Mark Looy said in a written statement.

#1 – -do you even understand what you think you believe?

“but I do believe in evolution just not the extreme type that believes we all came from a chance meeting of chemicals in a pool of slime a billion years ago.”
    ———— vs ———–
“just because I dont believe the religion of evolution doesn’t mean there isn’t a middle ground between the 6000 year old earth and the slime mold cousin”

It looks like you are not only a “roll your own religionist” but do the same to science. Please outline for us your “middle ground” of non-religious evolution that you favor?

Adam: I didn’t have sex with that woman!

    #32, Jag,

Careful. They might want to run a DNA test on that Old Navy Banana Leaf stain.

    #25, David,

I’m laughing my butt at this one. Not you, but the scenerio. Very good post, well said. And very true.

#6 The first part of your statement is over simplified, the split is not just over Jehovah and Allah there are problems with Sunnis and Shiites within Islam, and there are a number of sectarian problems in Christianity itself, Pentecostals, Catholics, Methodists, you name them, they all have deep divisions that has the potential to trigger ugly situations, which suggests that religious people are hardly any better than uncivilized tribes. Not just that there are disagreements, there are disagreements in science as well, but the extremes that they take their disagreements, condemning people to eternal punishment and sometimes in case of the Muslim, nowadays, awful violence.

The tribes in the jungle that are yet to discover the wheel may very well be your kind, their superstitions, god and ancestral worship are more akin to Christian beliefs than the atheist’s beliefs.

Most of the people who are responsible for the modern western world you mentioned were not blinded by faith, they embraced science, and some had to fight hard to stay alive because of persecution from Christians.

What makes you believe that the people who were burning fellow humans at the stakes for heresy any more civilized or less angry than the so called angry tribes in the jungle?

While the church is also associated with institutions and societies that promote learning (some universities grew out of monasteries, most did not) this does not mean they were able or willing to throw off the mantle of religious stupidity evidenced by the fact that Galileo was rehabilitated only after 359 years.

Actually, technically is wasn’t Ymir’s body that created the nine worlds that include our world, but it was originally the Comsic Cow named Audhumla that licked a block of ice (or salt… or maybe salty ice… I can’t remember now).

Personally, I think they should stop teaching the rubbish about evolution and creationism and get back to bovine basics. Can anyone spare a few bucks so I can open the Museum Of How It Really Happened (I shouldn’t need much, just a block of Ice and a Jersey cow maybe….)

#1, Actually we lefties find all religions to be vapid, insidious, and designed solely to keep weak-minded people under control by a small ruling class.

You sir, are a fine specimen of a man clearly under control of those that preach from one, single book, and are willing to dismiss the work of thousands. Hooray for you.
