This turtle apparently loves cats… at least this cat:

Clearly a sign of reincarnation.
The funny thing is, according to the laws of reincarnation, this means a turtle is a higher life-form than a cat. I’d tend to agree.
There are no higher lifeforms than cats.
What about cats with wings?
There’s never a Holy Hand Grenade around when you need one.
What I’m curious is what would the turtle do after a few seconds of contact to the cats. Wisely the cats didn’t allow this.
I’m baffled by two things.
1. Why is that turtle so interested in cats?
2. Why is Hopper so interested in YouTube, much like a monkey is interested in fecal matter?
Friends, this an example of the unnatural and ungodly state of affairs in the world today with the removal of prayer….
um, the acceptance of immoral acts between turtles and housecats…
am I suddenly channeling Jerry F?

“Clearly a sign of reincarnation.”

“There are no higher lifeforms than cats.”
Well, yeah, I’ll grant you that – but every so often genetic serendipity works to produce an adequate human, e.g., Enya, Cate Blanchett… if only to demonstrate that humanity isn’t entirely hopeless. 🙂
The cute little turtle in the second clip appears to be an Alligator Snapping Turtle. After it grows up to its adult weight and attitude, the cat will have real problems. So will the owner.
Perry
Yeah, a large alligator snapping turtle can snap a broomstick in two with one bite. When I was MUCH younger, a friend of mine and I found a pretty large one in a local lake. He put it in his bike basket and the snapper snapped right through the basket wire like it was butter.
And OFTLO… I’m still sifting through the feces to find the gems.
BTW, cat lovers – you may, like myself, have been previously unaware of this thoroughly wonderful creature, the fishing cat. I want one!
I love cats but boy are they stupid. Check this vid out.
#12, Cheese, Hop, I’m so agoraphobic that was hard to watch. I’ve heard anecdotes of cats surviving a multi-story fall. Here’s a real one (with optional vid):
http://www.local6.com/news/8163767/detail.html
That’s an example of why they say cats have nine lives.
Now, you gents are scientific enough for me to not have to mention why cats survive multi-story falls far better than human adults – the same reason human infants have also done so; low mass.
um, better to say: lower comparative mass…
#16, Lauren, that’s right, plus the fact that infant’s bones are like rubber. And cats with their keen sense of balance and legs splayed are almost like a parachute.
So Lauren, you’re saying if you’re from Southern Massachusetts, you could jump off a balcony without getting hurt?
In the timeless words of John Cleese, “Inanutshell.”
And it follows that, of course, if you happen to be a cat or an infant – or better still, an infant cat – you’ll fall upwards…
