I always thought the visual to landing in Boston or San Diego made it seem scary with the runway edge on water but then ‘m no pilot…still I would hate to short those.
+1 to Wellington Airport – I commuted there for a couple of years and nearly got religion each time we landed!
That landing is more than Hairy. Looked scary enough standing on the ground watching it. What a bout the poor buggers inside. Shorts needed changing no doubt.
Was in the military and flowned into there in 94 from miami free drinks on board and I had a window seat! no one told me and I was freaking out! I saw green or ground! Then bounce and hard brakes…… glad it was not the free drinks….
