That’s Bubba on the right

“Bubba” Ludwig can’t walk, talk or open the refrigerator door — but he does have his very own Illinois gun permit.

The 10-month-old, whose given name is Howard David Ludwig, was issued a firearm owner’s identification card after his father, Howard Ludwig, paid the $5 fee and filled out the application, not expecting to actually get one.

The card lists the baby’s height (2 feet, 3 inches), weight (20 pounds) and has a scribble where the signature should be.

Illinois State Police oversee the application process. Their purpose, said Lt. Scott Compton, is to keep guns out of the hands of convicted felons, those under an order of protection and those convicted of domestic violence.

See, the coppers didn’t do anything wrong. Just stupid!

#20 – You already got owned. No point to beat on you further.

There’s a reason your viewpoints are called the minority: They don’t make any sense, and are based out of spite and ignorance.

  2. Fred Flint says:

A ten month old child has a gun permit. OK, that makes a whole lotta sense. We should institute permits for atomic bombs as well and issue them to babies too.

I just have a quick question: “If you are insane, do you know you are insane?”

Judging by some of the comments here, I gotta wonder.

  3. Angel H. Wong says:

Kid’s old enough to kill someone but not old enough to drink a beer.

    #27

You are harrasing the lefties, let them bitch.

  4. Mr. Fusion says:

    #31, Jamey Hill

    And your point is?

  5. Mr. Fusion says:

    #27, quit your effen whining.

Jamey Hill made a stupid comment and OFTLO responded in kind. Also called Tit for Tat.

This is one of the very few times when YOU haven’t been on here lambasting the “left” or claiming total bullshit as fact. Get a life and at the same time, get some maturity.

  6. malren says:

Wow. Such civility and maturity. I can see why people say that it’s the right that cause the problems in the public debate.

    *cough*

  7. malren says:

You are harrasing the lefties, let them bitch.

    WTF?

Wow. You are literally imagining things.

  8. meetsy says:

“an heirloom shotgun”….yeah, since all the guns NOW are ones that can be altered to be semi and full automatic weapons, complete with catalogs of ADD-ONS (like wrist clips, and ankle clips for extra bullets and special slings to carry them for “fast action”, and customizing decals, and laser sights, and night vision….). The concept of a gun that might, perhaps, possibly in some way, somehow be used for HUNTING is certainly heirloom.
I don’t care that the kid has a permit.
I’m so sick of the pro-gun nuts who think it’s somehow a constitutional right to own a gun — and let the gun manufacturers make these idolized weapons (funny, just like the ones in those super violent thriller, shoot em and weep movies, and on the front of rap albums) that can only appeal to someone with the mind of a hormone ravaged teen boy. What else are they going to want to do with the TOY? Obviously, see how many points he can wrack up in a Columbine Classic shooting extravaganza.

  9. BubbaRay says:

38, meetsy, when you come up with a mod that can autoload my Citori over / under shotgun, let me know. You might avoid Hopper’s UUKKMA award for the day. Cheese, it’s just for shooting skeet (or morons that break into my house.)

I’ve an heirloom shotgun that’s over 90 years old, and it can be yours for $8,500. Only shoots one shell at a time, so it shouldn’t offend your sense of morality.

  10. The Buc Defender says:

This is crazzi or im confused

im doing something against the gun permit stuff for school and i read the laws there IS an age restriction n the article there ISNT .

any body know where this Howard dude lives……..

does he think his baby gonna be the next eminem!!!!!!?????……f**** ^
