The Center for Public Integrity is one of those outfits chartered to do all the boring and mind-boggling research needed in a democratic society to keep track of our “leaders” and who’s in whose pants pockets.
They sent me an email, this morning, about the sale of Tribune Media – and in the course of things, noted they now offer a free media tracker for the whole country.
Thought it might be useful to “local” cranks.
A very interesting, and handy, tool. Great link, Eideard!
Interesting link for sure. I wonder if anyone has done something similar with major international media – the big city papers and media conglomerates worldwide. Hmm. I wonder if it even could be done internationally, given the cultural and political differences involved.
It would be better if their front page was simpler, a la http://www.drudgereport.com/
