Suddenly becomes motormouth Mohammed

Pakistani terrorist claims he masterminded 9/11-The United States-World-NEWS-The Times of India — Does anyone find both the timing of this bullshit a little odd not to mention the fact that this guy is essentailly crediting himself with all sorts of unrelated acts that would be impossible for him to coordinate from his Pakistan shithole? But that’s ok, just look at all the horrible things he was about to do before we caught him. Good work, huh? We stopped him just in time.

Prediction, next we find out that Saddam was the other mastermind.

WASHINGTON: A Pakistani national, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, has claimed he masterminded the Sept 11 attacks on the United States and 30 other terrorist attacks and plots around the world.

In a confession before a tribunal at the US military’s Guantanamo Bay prison camp in Cuba, he also claimed that he shared responsibility for several other major plots, including ones to assassinate Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf, former US presidents, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, and Pope John Paul.

“I was responsible for the 9/11 Operation, from A to Z,” said top Al Qaeda suspect Khalid Mohammed, speaking through a personal representative, at Saturday’s tribunal hearing, according to the transcript released by the Pentagon here on Wednesday. Certain portions of the confession were omitted for security reasons.

He also confessed to the beheading of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in a section of the statement that was excised from the public document, according to media reports.

Pearl was abducted in January 2002 in Pakistan while researching a story on Islamic militancy. Mohammed has long been a suspect in the slaying, which was captured on video.

Mohammed also claimed responsibility for a 1993 attack on New York’s World Trade Centre, the bombing of two nightclubs in Bali, Indonesia, and an attempt to down two American airplanes using shoe bombs.

By the way, I thought it was pretty well-established that the shoe-bomber was working as a lone wolf. And if Khalid was behind everything and we have caught him then isn’t the war on terror over? Why do I see a perpetual orange alert at the airport?

  1. Danijel says:

29# I guess that is why John put it at “fishy” on his scale and didn’t go all the way, but in terms of probability I’d also put it somewhere around 10-20% probable… All in all it’s a pretty weak experiment and even if some folks at the White House would like it, that won’t justify the Guantanamo Bay detention camp for most of the people….

  2. So Chris, I take it you believe that he’s the trigger man for Pearl too, although the real guy was already named. OK, let’s say he wasn’t in his Pakistan shithole. He was in his Afghanistan shithole on the phone all day doing deals. There are not enough hours in the day to manage all these special events let alone mastermind them all. The whole things is fishy unless you’re extremely gullible. And, again, why is this suddenly revealed now? Oh, wait, a coincidence. Yes, like those fake terror alerts we were given during critical times in the 2004 election, right? The ones that they admitted to doing. Brother.

Have another drink Chris. It goes down easy.

  3. Pfkad says:

    Mission Accomplished, the sequel!

Sadly, I too have lost all faith in the credibility of this administration. The BS Meter seems about right to me.

  4. Mr. Fusion says:

#30, Good list but you missed one of the most important.

Is he responsible for all those missing socks in my laundry?

  5. Ballenger says:

I doubt torturing this guy was necessary. More than likely they just threatened him with “talk or we’re sending you to a day-spa for a full body wax job”.

Aside from the how or why of the confession, given the unrelenting accusations of media manipulation directed at the Bush White House, timing the release of the statement so that it did not to appear to be a smoke screen, would have made more sense if the intention was to maximize the credibility of Fat Hairy Tony’s statement, if such a thing is possible. Then again, displaying interest in what the largest numbers of Americans think hasn’t been their fort.

  6. Angel H. Wong says:

Imagine all the Bear BDSM footage the US Army has on him.

  7. dd smithe says:

    Wow, another Lee Harvey Oswald!

  8. Meetsy, LOL, you always add a funny slant on the topic…
I know I wouldn’t trust this guy making my gyro.

  9. Mr. Fusion says:

#35, Good point. It doesn’t matter how much faith we can put into the No Torture bit, this administration has lost all it’s credibility with Americans. It wouldn’t matter if he begged them to hear him out 15 minutes after they caught him. We just don’t believe it. The meter is too conservative.

The Bush Administration couldn’t convince anyone that it is light out on a sunny day. To think that they once had 90% approval ratings.

  10. Brew Kline says:

“I was responsible for the 9/11 Operation, from A to Z,” said top Al Qaeda suspect Khalid Mohammed”

THERE ARE NO ALPHABETS IN “9/11”, TURKEY!

  11. Meetsy, I did a search in The international movie database and the only match that comes close to this guy is Captain Kanaroo. I will check casting calls next….

  12. Smartalix says:

    Need I say more?

  13. Alix, Since I know you are in Germany at CeBIT, I then have to assume that you carry that pic of you and Ron with you where ever you go? Hm..

  14. Angel H. Wong says:

    #42 Alix.

    I’m jealous of you 😉

  15. Jägermeister says:

    #42

    O’boy… now you’re in trouble with DHS… 😉

  16. mark says:

Alix you are THE MAN!!!!!!!!! be careful though, Ive seen him hurt people with that thing.

  17. traaxx says:

    Whatever,

Liberal/Commies seem to really care about this, I doubt it. Their real interest is in being suicidal, gee here we have an individual from the Religion of Peace confessing to a bunch of crimes, and maybe this individual, that most certainly would glibly behead anyone of the little pervert Liberal/Commies, was tortured. What is torture today anyway, being keep up, listening to Barbara Streisand music? Yep, I’m sure that the number three man in Al Qaeda didn’t have anything to do with these crimes, I’m sure he wouldn’t have taken credit for plans someone else thought of, this only happens with American Managers? Yep, just another criminal that the leftist can’t wait to release into the general population as another ‘agent of change’. What’s the timing, nothing is really happening. Maybe it’s suppose to be the budget, like any liberal/commie in congress is brave enough to really deny the US troops the money.

I don’t think liberals/commies drink cool-aid, but wherever they are it must snow a lot and end up their nose. These Dehimmis should realize that Islam doesn’t tolerate such winter sports.

Since the picture seems to be important to a few Dehimmis, Dvorak should tell everyone where he got it rather than pretend it’s a recent picture during the court trial. The meter must be stuck from being around Mr.Dvorak so long, ie who really cares!

  18. First of all it is Dhimmis

    Secondly I love that pic!

  19. Smartalix says:

    47,

The picture was taken at CES this January. I caught Ron Jeremy in the hall on the way to the Adult Entertainment Show and just had to have my picture taken with him. I thought he was cool for stopping to take the time. (SO I just happened to have it on my hard drive, John.)

    😉

  20. Chris says:

Wow, I got smacked down by the man himself. I’m humbled. Let me preface this by stating that I don’t think he did nearly all he said he did, it was probably under coercion, and criminal minds do tend to aggrandize themselves. BUT, this guy is a terrorist, by admission and by facts, so at the least he should be tried and imprisoned for the rest of his life, at minimum. He IS a bad guy, right? btw…I recently changed from R to I, so I THINK I’m growing as a person…lol.

  21. Sic_n_Tired says:

#47 What is torture today anyway,

Trying to make sense of your childish ramblings for one!!
You need some new words to misspell.
BTW, your Village still misses you.

  22. And Chris, you got a picture as a bonus!! Rare.

  23. Jeff says:

    >Listening to Barbara Streisand music?
You kind of had an interesting post until then. Now we just know you are a right-wing nut. Yes, the liberal media is out to get you and they are doing it through pop culture icons that are from the 70s. Be afraid, be very afraid. Were out to get the conservative/fascists all over the world through rock and hip-hop music. You might want to stay off the Kool-Aid yourself, or better yet check yourself into rehab.

    >Yep, I’m sure that the number three man in Al Qaeda didn’t have >anything to do with these crimes, I’m sure he wouldn’t have taken >credit for plans someone else thought of, this only happens with >American Managers?
Most people are not questioning his involvement but rather the timing of news releases like this.

    >These Dehimmis should realize that Islam doesn’t tolerate such >winter sports.
Here come the usually racist religious arguments. Enough with the Dehimmis comments (Western civilization isn’t falling). Maybe your disconnected reality is just causing typical paranoid visions of stuff that really isn’t happening (you know like the Soviets planning to take over American during the Clinton Administration by rightwing talk radio nutcakes).

  24. Greg Allen says:

They tortured him so much at Gitmo that he also confessed to being the father of Anna Nichole Smith’s baby.

  25. Greg Allen says:

Seriously, this is an example of why torture should never be allowed. It corrupts the whole legal system. Once you torture someone, it creates reasonable doubt about anything and everything he confesses to.

  26. Mr. Fusion says:

#54, that must have taken quite the torture. I understand she wasn’t a virgin.

  27. MikeN says:

Is the media going to try and get to the redacted parts of the confession? Particularly, did he have anything to do with the bombing of TWA800(officially a mechanical failure)?

  28. doug says:

#39. Frankly, if I had confidence that he was responsible for about half of what he supposedly confessed to, I would say, give him a fair trial, then stand him up against the wall and let’s get on with it..

But no, we have been lied to so very much that we can’t be sure of any of it. Bastards.

And I think Dhimmi is plural. No “s.” Just something for us “liberal/commies” to remember.

(Is it me or do the most militant of the pro-Western chauvinists have the least confidence in Western Civilization?)

  29. Dove says:

Not only! In addition, Sheikh Mohammed ALSO confessed to playing a leading role in THIRTY – yes, count them: 30 – additional terrorist plots! This a stunning range of terrorist activities he claims to have had a hand in including both the 1993 and 2001 assaults on the World Trade Center, as well as the beheading of the Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, attacks on Heathrow airport, Big Ben and Canary Wharf in UK, and still more!
