Update (Thursday, March 1): Breaking news: Local media are reporting that the two have been arrested, and the teller too for being in cahoots! The women are reportedly 19 years of age, and a fourth person has also been arrested. This just gets better and better!
Since it was supposedly staged with inside help– holdup note and all– the charges will be THEFT, not bank robbery. Now do you understand why I use the word alleged to excess in my posts? ;-) . . . .Video

Can this be real ??? Absolutely hilarious !!!
Gals Disguised Only With Sunglasses (Alleged Bank Robbery)
Georgia authorities Wednesday were searching for two young women, possibly teenagers, who robbed a supermarket bank branch, laughing as they held up a teller with nothing but sunglasses to disguise their faces.
The two handed a Bank of America branch teller a note demanding cash, smiled as they waited and then walked out with stolen money Tuesday, police said.
It wasn’t clear if they had a weapon, police said.
Their images, captured on bank surveillance video during the 12:15 p.m. robbery Tuesday, were released by police and had already led to several tips, Cobb County police spokesman officer Wayne Delk said. Authorities have not said how much money was taken, but Delk said it is “considerable.”
“Who were those masked women?
I wanted to thank them (for being so stupid).”
IS the chick on the right Britney Spears? ’cause that would be a good explanation on why she shaved her head.
dumb spoiler rich white girls
hope they get what they deserve!
They’re from the high school a town or two over, so they figured they’d never be recognized, and the damned movie was expensive once they paid their $225 for popcorn, and how were they supposed to get home after that?
So they did the only reasonable thing they could. Obviously.
I blame the school system. If we could teach these young people the proper way to………….oh never mind.
Until they’re actually caught I wouldn’t be so quick to call them stupid.
SN- Oh C’mon, I give em 48 hours tops.
Does anyone ever ask to see the “gun”? Or is bubble gum a weapon now.
Where’d this brilliant heist go down?
Ah yes! Joja – home base of Mensa… say. no. more.
6. “Oh C’mon, I give em 48 hours tops.”
You can travel a lot of distance in only 48 hours. Now if they stay where they are, the same state, city, school, etc. The are stupid. But if they’re smart they could be far enough away that even when the police figure out who they are, they won’t be able to figure out where they are.
There was no gun or violence involved, so it’s not like they’re going to be on any most wanted list. And they look like any thousands of young girls in America. They could blend in and no one would be the wiser.
Time will tell just how smart they really are. But it’s too soon to tell now.
Their lucky they didn’t get shot.
I have a hunch that Paris Hilton was driving the get a way car…just a hunch.
You can find a news video of the story here, after a short commercial.
And just to think they only had to blow the bank manager! Dumb.
9. You rob a bank, and it aint the keystone cops on your ass its FBI, whether they used a weapon or not, that money is marked, they wont get far. They should check the shopping mall first.
That one on the right is actually a 47 year old, 225lb, black guy.
Awesome disguise!
Definately awesome diguises! Two men made to look like cute girls! Incredible, they may never be caught.
13. “it aint the keystone cops on your ass its FBI”
Not necessarily true. I’m an attorney who works in a court. We’ve had plenty of bank robbers pass through our court and the FBI is never involved. You’ve watched WAY too many police shows.
Robbing a bank insured by the FDIC is a violation of federal law. Hence, the FBI involvement. It is taken seriously, and these girls could end up in “pound-you-in-the-ass” federal prison.
If they’re so stupid how come the SMART cops havent caught them?! 😉
17. “Robbing a bank insured by the FDIC is a violation of federal law. Hence, the FBI involvement.”
Hey, I’m not arguing that the FBI can’t get involved. Certainly they’d have jurisdiction. I’m just saying that for the past 6 years I’ve worked in a real court dealing with real bank robberies and I’ve never seen the FBI involved in any of them.
The only time the FBI gets involved in state cases is when large amounts of drugs are involved.
I personally think the FBI has better things to do than to track down two unarmed high school girls perpetrating what is essentially a prank. (Well, at least to them.)
SN- An Attorney? Aha that explains much;)
#10 Their lucky they didn’t get shot.
You’re lucky we aren’t grading for basic English usage.
#5, ok, they are stupid:
