For some job seekers, a trip to a virtual world may hold the key to an actual job.

Interactive advertising agency TMP Worldwide…will allow corporate recruiters to hold job fairs and interview potential employees via TMP’s space on the Second Life virtual world.

Until now, recruitment in the virtual space was limited to virtual jobs.

“A lot of companies spend money on job fairs at convention centers or hosting at hotels,” said Louis Vong. “We’re saying we can do all this inside Second Life.”

Suppose you pick an avatar that makes you look like Brad Pitt — when you really look like Marilyn Manson?

  1. god says:

Manson looks like an avatar, anyway.

  2. @$tr0Gh0$t says:

Oh man! It’s too early in the morning to see a picture of MM. Bad way to begin your day 😉
