I don’t believe anybody high up in government takes the Homeland Security Department seriously, including the dept’s own leaders. It is simply a charade intended to fool the sheep into thinking the government is doing something serious in response to 9/11. Its real purpose is to funnel billion$ to Bush’s cronies in the fast-growing security business sectors.
