Hey, this is NOT the landing strip
— Ack! What a way to go.
Small plane crashes into sewage tank
A small airplane apparently took a nose-dive into a tank of raw sewage near Gilroy on Monday afternoon.
Gilroy police Sgt. Kurt Svardal said authorities have no idea where the plane was from or where it was going. The aircraft came pretty much straight down into a holding tank filled with raw sewage at a sewage treatment facility. It was too dangerous for even a dive team to go into the water and check for bodies or the tail number of the plane, which would indicate who owned it and where it was from.
The tank is about 20 feet deep and will have to be drained before police can determine if anyone is inside. Svardal said police assume at least one person, the pilot, is inside the downed plane. There may be passengers, as well.
Oh, Poopie!
J/P=?
This guy certainly deserves a Darwin award. His last words… Holy shit!!
Talk about the shit hitting the fan…
To much chili.
The terrorists are attacking our wast treatment plants…Better throw some money that way!

I can just hear the dive team when they showed up on scene.
“Oh, hell no!”
I hope he was lucky enough to die on impact.
What a crappy way to go out.
8# – traped for hours in an air pocket
Sounds like the pilot was trying to commit sewercide.
Thats not cool, folks. 3 ppl lost their lives in this crash.
No, it aint funny…
Whats funny is that they are STILL THERE..
This is like the Dog that got spray’d by a skunk and no one has the Nerve to get close enough to clean him up.
Uhh, Josh, people lose their lives all the time, every day, probably every minute of every day…that IS what life is about. We are born, we live, we die. Seems that if you can’t lighten up….you won’t enjoy life much. Try getting that stick out of your backside before it does some serious damage.
Of all the ways to die, though, this would not be MY number one pick.
And, the reason, ECA, that no one has gone in…is because it is RAW SEWAGE…. health risks for the rescuers. The tank needs to be drained, and sanitized …and flushed of any remaining methane…so the rescuer’s lives aren’t in danger.
Deep Spit man,
Deep Spit.
