This wall-crawling robot at Electronica 2006 was created by the students of the Fraunhofer Institute for robotics and automation. The sign reads “your partner for applications-based solutions”.
This device used sensors and precision motor control to keep the ball balanced on top of the wheel. Nice demo.
Some companies used their wares to generate booth traffic…
…while some exhibitors used sculptures of their parts to create interest.

The Fiat doesn’t look like it has a production body. Looks like a Zagato from here. One of my very favorite designers.
