Sport Stacking World Record

I happened to see a clip on the news, last night, of a Sport Stacking competition. They mentioned that the world record was 7.43 seconds. So, I looked online at Google Video — and found this clip of Emily Fox, the world record holder.

Unbelievable!

    I had coffee, this morning, with a mate who’s a middle school sports coach and he actually knew about this stuff. He said what’s useful about it is that it teaches ambidextrous skills.

    Apparently, this little girl also plays baseball [softball?] and bats either way — and is a bit of a star in her age group basketball, shooting and passing with either hand.

    I’m lucky I learned how to shuffle cards.
