STOCKHOLM, Sweden (AP) — Sweden’s state broadcaster SVT on Monday faced ridicule for mistakenly showing a porn movie in the background of a news broadcast over the weekend.
Viewers of a 5-minute news update at midnight Saturday could see explicit scenes from a Czech porn movie on a TV screen behind news anchor Peter Dahlgren.
The monitor — one of many on the wall of a control room visible behind the studio — normally shows other news channels during broadcasts.

At least it wasn’t a cartoon of Mohammed, than they’d really be in for a world of hurt.
So were viewers objecting or wanting to see the action?
… and then out …. and then in again.
“So were viewers objecting or wanting to see the action?”
In the U.S. they would object.
In Europe they would want to see the action.
I wonder if the news anchor was using a Swedish made penis pump under the table during the broadcast.
Over here (as of late anyway), cartoons have been on some TV’s in the background (on some channels).
Is it really that boring working there?
Local TV station has a “monitor panel” like that during their nightly weather broadcast. Several of them look fairly obviously fake….
Not quite in the same category, but no Fatwahs are likely….
The crews “downstairs” often watch network feeds (sometimes more than one) while airing something else entirely. The background monitors in this shot likely are slaved from something meaningful elsewhere, and somebody just used the wrong screen….
(It’s also possible that there’s nothing there at all behind the guy but a blue screen. Color Key…. Another local station’s weather guy occasionally wears the wrong color suit, and looks transparent against the wall-sized weather maps they now prefer.)
Regards,
In Sweden the few people who noticed will just laugh and get on with their lives…
If there were any complaints it was that they were showing the news instead of porn!
The fact one of the monitors was on Canal+ showing a sports-game. However, after the sports-game there was a pornographic film! Hence it being shown on the monitor.

Why not let the US and Europe trade the prudent for the imprudent? put all the prudent in the US, and all the rest in Europe…
Clearly you’ve never been in a control room in the US to think this is news. Same kind of crap goes on here, too.
12-Why should I be marooned amidst all that prudent flesh? And I can’t move to Europe, I’ve never quite figured out that bidet thing.

If you are offering me an all expense paid relocation package to Amsterdam, I’ll take you up on it.
I’ll still post about all the annoying antics of the fundies, but I’ll be doing it from the cybercafe/hash bar with a wide grin on my face and no fear of Jesus Freaks vandelizing my car because of my Darwin Fish.
Can anyone actually tell what’s is on that screen?
It’s either something I’ve never done or something I’ve never seen cause i sure can’t make it out!
