You are all going to die, die , die!!

ABC News: ‘Last Days on Earth’ — This is the kind of bullshit programming that will do nothing more than seriously frighten small children and the feeble-minded. ABC should be ashamed of itself for doing a show like this. What? Have they run out of scaring people to death with stories about terrorists lurking in the closets? Hey, if you think it’s the end of the world, then shoot yourself and leave the rest of us alone.

How smart are we as a civilization? Smart enough to control our destiny and avoid the cataclysms that may end life as we know it?

Watch “Last Days on Earth,” a special 2-hour edition of “20/20,” Wednesday, Aug. 30, at 9 p.m.

For thousands of years, different religions have warned Earth about Armageddon and the final days.

We are now living in an age where scientists are adding their voices and their evidence in support of end-of-the-world possibilities.

“Last Days on Earth” is a program that could change the way you see your world and yourself.

Yes, that is true, now I hate Disney and think the execs at ABC are irresponsible souless assholes. How do these people even sleep at night. Or are they laughing at the audience? Once upon a time 20/20 was actually a news magazine worth watching. That train left the station a while back. This is yet another disturbing example of where American news has gone.

Back up the soul train here… Why is it OK when History, Discovery or National Geographic do shows like this, but not when it’s done by ABC?

The problem is that we, the human race, do have more power than ever to destroy ourselves, but we pretend that accountability doesn’t exist because it’s scary to think about. So we let Bad Things happen and look the other way.

If you haven’t seen the show, it’s a little early to judge. Come on, John, you’ve written books. You know the promotion never really matches the content, it’s just made to sell books.

its no big deal, it used to be scare people with radiation, or robots, or genetic manipulation, clones, robots again, alien invasions… why should end of world be any different?

  3. “The world’s top scientists, including Stephen Hawking, considered the foremost living theoretical physicist, describe seven riveting scenarios detailing the deadliest threats to humanity.”

I’m looking forward to the end of the world. The most exciting sign for it that I’m watching for is that of irrational Christians making fire with demonic power and deceiving the world by it. 🙂

#27: The film was called “The Man Who Saw Tomorrow.” Thought I should add in the name of the film in case anyone’s interested in listening to Orson drone on about World War III. Oh, it also features the producer’s vision of the star wars missle defence program in action. Ahh…memories of the cheese of years past!

  5. Jim says:

Me, I have confidence that George Orr’s active dreams will save us when the end of the world comes.

I’d love to see the Nielson results for that show. Are they broken down by geographic region? Party offiliation?

  6. William Davalos says:

How is it possible that some people have given their opinion about a program that has not been aired yet…!?
