A magnetic-pulse technique originally developed to treat psychological disorders such as depression has been modified to zap away migraines before they can fully form.
In a recent study, researchers tested a device called a transcranial magnetic stimulator, or TMS for short, on a small group of 43 migraine sufferers.
The TMS generates a strong, one-millisecond magnetic pulse that interrupts the symptoms leading up to a migraine, called the “aura” phase.

Bullshit like this give me a headache! Please show us Medical Journal reports which verifies the vaiidity of these incomplete claims. This reads like marketing press release swill designed to fool the terminally stupid to invest in the company.
Medical reporting in the mainstream news almost always gets it wrong. But, that being said, I wouldn’t dismiss this as a possible treatment.
Shock therapy clearly works for depression. Why not migraines?
One of the theories of migraines (or some types of migraines) is that they are a cousin to epilepsy but instead of muscles convulsing out-of-control, it is the neurons related to feeling pain.
I’m a migraine sufferer and, I have to say, the theory that migraines are vascular seems to better fit my experience. Still, I’d give that shock think a go, once it has been tested for safety. The drugs they have for maigraines are nasty.
