Car Sex by Keir Morse

The German city of Cologne has banned foreign press from its red light district in the run-up to the football World Cup, after prostitutes complained about journalists chasing away their customers since British media reports raised global interest in local “drive-in brothels“. [In] World Cup cities of Cologne and Dortmund…local governments are “expanding and improving” the areas in order to cope with the expected influx of foreign football fans.

Cologne authorities have announced a total ban on journalists using still or video cameras in the Geestemuende district where the drive-in brothels are located.

Robert Kilp, the head of the city’s public affairs department, said if a journalist was caught filming in the area the tape would be removed and a warning issued, but if he or she was caught a second time the consequences would be more serious.

“The second time we will be really angry. This zone is owned by the city of Cologne and is not considered a public street,” Mr Kilp said.

“Anyone filming or taking pictures there will be liable to prosecution. Prostitutes are having sexual intercourse in cars there, it is not a good thing to be filming.”

Another attack on the freedom-loving journalists of the world.

Freedom-loving journalists? There’s a laugh. If anything, journalists show no respect for the freedom of others (e.g. celebrities).

But, there’s a victim in this story that isn’t being written about: The Johns. What about the god-given freedom to get your rocks off in the back of a ’96 Audi as afforded to the people of Germany by their constitution (which is somewhere in the back)?

I’m sure the paparazzi will find a way in.
You can’t make the public not public for the sake of prostitution and expect the public to show up. You’ll get no business.

I think you underestimate the sneakiness of the perverts. Across the street from where I work is an adult “bookstore”. The guys drive down the street at night and then dart into the parking lot and park in back. I’ve never seen a more furtive, scared bunch of losers in my life. Trust me, they don’t want to be seen. They don’t want to be the public.

  4. Drew says:

As if there’s really anything going on in there that the “journalists” need to cover. I think we all know exactly what they’re doing. Do we really need pictures of it? (If so, I can direct you to about one million websites)

  5. RTaylor says:

Let them pay like rest of you lot. Notice I excluded myself from the group. Anyone that says they have never paid for sex has never been married. That can be long term financing at an abominable rate. 🙂
