When I first saw this a couple of weeks ago, I had a ratehr negative first impression. Then I thought about how Mary Magdeline probably had a hard time being taken seriously in the first century. It’s interesting to see that we probably haven’t changed a bit.

Maybe there are happy, well-adjusted strippers who strip like its an office job but that’s very unusual in my observation.
In college I lived and worked in a “red light” part of a major city and it became obvious to me that most of these women suffer so we men can get our jollies off. (And men don’t want to admit this reality… we want them to be happy like Julia Roberts.)
Typcially these women are addicted to drugs, sexually abused and generally trapped in really crappy degrading lives.
So if this woman has found a better life for herself, that’s a good thing and she’s right to tell others about it.

This woman is a professional Dancer that takes her clothing off. Shes an entertainer. It dosn’t sound like she is a prostitute.
Most working people suffer at thier work unless they enjoy what they are doing.
People work for money and then thier are the few that enjoy what they are doing.

Ok… I apologize because I didn’t mean to say that she was necessarily “scum of the earth.” I don’t know her, never met her. I was referring to myself as scum of the earth and to the human race in general as scum of the earth. There is a great blog at x3trinity.blogspot.com of woman who was in the adult industry and has now made some harsh changes in her life. I believe that if you really have an honest conversation with people in this industry you will find that real happiness and peace is sparse. Anything that changes that and makes people feel truly loved again I am for. So far I’ve only found one thing that does it for me. Thank you.
Ya, so what is the point. While I worked as a counselor years ago, I met many a former alcoholic or addict that “found Jesus”. I don’t see strippers as being any different. They become influenced at some vulnerable point in their life and substitute one crutch for another. If it makes them a productive member of society then great. If it makes them obnoxious bible thumpers then nothing is gained.
