A catalogue of possible world ending scenarios. Memento mori for these modern times.

Some people collect postal stamps; Exit Mundi collects scenarios of what could go wrong with the world. Sure, our planet could get hit by an asteroid. But hey, that’s nothing. Did you know we could all be munched away by hungry molecules? Or that our physicists could unintentionally wipe us all out while tinkering with particles? `Oops, sorry…’

While previous generations had to actually live with pestulants ,flood and famine this is our big worry! We were the first generation to be taught to get under our desks in case of attack. This may be a natural progression. Or as my grandmother whould say “You gonna worry yourself into the grave”.

  2. ECA says:

    Ok,
and getting under your desk, in a Nuke attack would do WHAT??

Its a comment, and their are many…about what happens when LOTS of persons group into 1 location, esp for long periods of time. Look up PLAUGE/Bugs/pests(sp).
NOw add to that…That between 2000-2050, the population on the Earth will increase from 5BILLION(?) to 8billion…Thats ABIT more then 50% increase..
fighting for land, space, and so forth, not to mention all the NATURAL stuff happening… (How fast do they install SEWERS in your area?)(and Whare does it GO??)(how much are you willing to pay, to clean your crap??)…

Head for the hills, and set up NOW….

  3. James says:

    Here’s an end-of-the-world scenario:
    a Libocrat getting something right!

  4. Awake says:

Don’t worry, the Bush Administration is working hard to protect us against the “Mineshaft Gap”, so that we can have a safe and secure future regardless of what happens. Under our divinely inspired leadership (and at least a 10:1 ratio… “Pioneers” get first dibs), we will prevail.

  5. John Wofford says:

The end of Humanity and the end of the world are not the same. The Earth, and most likely the Universe, could most likely get on rather well without us.
