World’s tallest structure is in Canada
While the world’s tallest structure is the CN Tower (shown above) at 553.33m (1,815 ft., 5 inches). Many don’t consider it a ‘building,’ so the tallest building is currently Taipai 101. This list shows the tallest buildings in the world.
When finished in 2008, Dubai Tower is will supposedly become the tallest where workers rioted yesterday.

Workers building what will be the world’s tallest tower have rioted over low wages and poor conditions.
About 2,500 workers on the Burj Dubai tower and its surrounding housing developments chased and beat up security guards, broke into offices and smashed computers and files. They also destroyed about two dozen cars and construction machines. Damage was estimated at £575,000.
The Burj Dubai will be a spire-shaped, stainless-steel-skinned tower expected to soar far beyond 100 storeys. Its final height is being kept a secret until the £515 million Burj is completed in 2008. A section is to host a 172-room luxury hotel operated by the Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani.

Yes … the “CN Tower” is amazing to look at 🙂 . Sleek and slender starting at the bottom, and then when you get up towards top you see this massive sight of beauty … almost hypnotizing.

B I G. That’s the only criterium for greatness in America. And it is the weakest. It shows no imagination. I live in Manhattan where the new high-rise to replace the fallen Twin Towers is under way. The design is so blah. Not to mention that the first 40 floors will be incased in an unbelievable concrete block with no windows in order to protect the building from explosives. And then they want to call it the “Freedom Tower.” Seriously, when am I going to die? This joke called life is now beyond tragic. If you want to see imagination and God at work, see the buildings in Dubai. They are constructing an underwater hotel in the likeness of a whale! INCREDIBLE. Look at their current designs. It beats American tall buildings that are lifeless and ugly just like America’s soul.
