I first saw this when I was floating around Europe last year and it’s hard not to laugh out loud at this candid camera gag, especially at the end.

they look staged.. all of them have a slight hesitation before sitting, like they know whats about to happen.

  2. Eklectick says:

I have to agree with GregAllen here. If this were real, there should have at least been one pissed off patron. I know I would be pissed if they placed a “fake” waterbed in a bedding store.

  4. George says:

As a German, I testify that we would get very angry if something like this happens. Spontaneity or surprises are not exactly welcome in our culture.

Sad to say but that’s the way it is…

  5. SignOfZeta says:

OK grandpa, time to get off the computer.

  6. Pat says:

Maybe they didn’t show the people that were upset. I assume that they would need the approval of the people before they could be shown. The upset people sure wouldn’t allow their embarrassment to be shown on TV.

Candid Camera did this for years with hidden cameras.

    But it sure is funny.

  7. Greg says:

Pat has it exactly right. The magic of editing.

  8. site admin says:

Hey I go to Germany a lot…not everyone is a stiff. Geez.
