International news from swissinfo, the Swiss news platform — These jokers will be up to no good. Why do we even do business in Yemen?

The 23 inmates who escaped through a 140-metre (460-feet) tunnel hollowed under their prison to a nearby mosque included not just leaders of deadly attacks on a U.S. warship and a French oil tanker, but also, it emerged days later, a Yemeni-American with a $5 million U.S. reward on his head.

Western annoyance at the grave security breach has been compounded by a perception that Yemen has been slow to respond and — despite its statements to the contrary — less than fully cooperative with the world police organisation Interpol.

One week after the escape, none of the men has been recaptured.

    “Looks like an inside job”

    Ya think? 🙂

Sounds like that cross-border tunnel between Tijuana and Otay Mesa

Interesting that the tunnel terminates in a nearby mosque…

I’m guessing there is not much chance of an editorial cartoon about that little tidbit. 🙂

True. Check this asture post out. The Andy Dufresne comparison made me want to go to Blockbuster to rent Shawshank.

Would it surprise anyone that the bomber of the Cole worked for the CIA and the agency was instrumental in his escape from prison? Sounds crazy doesn’t it? Probably a ludicrous speculation…

I thought you wanted all these people out of jail? Aren’t you always complaining about Guantanamo?
