Are you glad to see me or is that your joystick?

Denim giant Levi Strauss said on Tuesday it had designed jeans compatible with the iPod music player, featuring a joystick in the watch pocket to operate the device.

The Levi’s RedWire DLX Jeans for men and women, which will be available this fall, also have a built-in docking cradle for the iPod and retractable headphones. Pricing was not immediately available.

Oh brother! I’ve been looking at this “news” for 2 days — waiting for someone else silly enough to post it.

    X-D

NEXT FALL? No wonder Levi’s brand is fading, it takes them 9 months to add a new pocket to the design!

I’m sensing a gay theme here with the pictures posted lately. First the dude with the low riders posted last week, now this.

It’s to provide far and balanced reporting (where have I heard that phrase before…) given the articles recently that had bikini clad women for the hetero male and lesbian contingent. And by the way, the other article with a guy in it had a comment from a woman who requested more pictures like this.

I’m not gay, but I don’t think if anyone was gay it should be our business.

I have a dozen captions for the picture – but not one fit to print.
    Still –
When fads have run the course to clothes designed to fit the fad – they are close to the end. Like all Apple products, the i-pod costs double what an equivalent would – with no real technical advantage to differentiate it. Hope the jeans pocket will fit a competitive product – that way the user has more money to spend on Levis.

Obviously intended for the model with a large hard drive.

  8. Nathan says:

    I LOVE THAT PIC!!!

  9. GregAllen says:

Why don’t more pants don’t have dedicated cell phone pockets. Cell phones are not exactly new, anymore and they are far more common than all brands of music players combined.

On the men’s models the pocket should be as far away from the testicles as possible! (I’m not joking.)
