Funny you should mention that. The only person I’ve ever known to have one of these loves it – but it nearly killed a friend he let borrow it – when the friend got the chute caught in some powerlines.
Did some damage to the transmission tower – which he had to pay for – but at least his buddy made it through okay. 🙂
It’s not that hard to take off with an aircraft, they want to fly. Landing one safely is another thing, since it’s basically a controlled crash.
Fun concept, but anytime you fly, you should have good flight plan, one that does not include proximity to powerlines is best. Just cruising down the highway and taking off when or where ever will never happen.
