“Doo, doo, doo, lookin’ out my back door….”

We’ve had very strange, severe weather in my parts the last 24 hours or so. Just when I looked out and noticed that the skies had turned to clear blue, someone came in and said, “But look back over here.” I did, and thought it was worth a pic.

    Mr Dvorak,
What kind of camera did you take that picture with?
    Beautiful piture!

  3. JB says:

Move along. Nothing to see here. (can anyone else find the hidden demon face?)

    hottyson,
Thanks. This is my post (contributing editor Keith Burel ), not John’s. I used a Konica Minolta DiMage Z10.

Now if we can just get him to use photoshop to “level” the photos.

It is a killer shot, I agree.

  6. jasontheodd says:

Love the color, how close is it to the real thing?

  7. RTaylor says:

This is when you want to hug yourself and say, “I do believe in ghosts, I do believe in ghosts..”

  8. Pat says:

Getting those killer shots is 90% luck, 5% equipment, and 5% skill. Keith, I think you just hit 100%. congrats on a great shot.

  9. Rob says:

The only thing demonic I see is Texaco is down to 2.13 for regular in that picture.

    Here is 2.32………

  10. KB says:

jasontheodd– the color rendition seems quite accurate to me.

Pat, I kinda have to agree with you. First the shot had to be there, then one had about 3 minutes to get a good pic of it (lighting, etc.). What digital cameras in the $200 range can do nowadays is astonishing to me, and, as for my part, all I did was identify a good opportunity, frame it, and shoot.

  11. Joe Gaffney says:

At first glance I thought it might be a photo of the TX/OK fires from over the horizon.

Thanks for the camera info KB. It’s always nice to give credit to manufactures for great photos.

  12. Floyd says:

No demons, but I see a cloud just above the Texaco station that looks like the young Bob Dylan…but no (ob Peanuts) duckies, horsies or demons.

  13. John Wofford says:

Hope you don’t mind, it’s wallpaper.

  14. KB says:

Glad you liked it, John Wofford.

You didn’t happen to have any tripods pop out of the ground after word did you?
