I’m about as skeptical as they come, but listening to the investigator and seeing the photo of the room — assuming this isn’t some high tech, incredibly expensive hoax — then I think someone ought to check into this more thoroughly.
A teen was murdered in the home shown in the photo below. Soon afterward, his mother took the photo in preparation for selling the house. But something strange happened. The teen’s face appeared in the photo, just below the window. A psychic investigator was then called in.
There’s an audio track with this from the investigator, but I screwed something up and it’s very low and takes a while before coming on. Turn up the volume and try to spot the ghost image while you wait for the audio to begin. It’s worth hearing.
Note: This requires Flash to be installed to view properly.
Dvorak, your a tool.
PS
I usually love your stuff but this is rather lame
I am sorry, but after the line “but I screwed something up and it’s very low and takes a while before coming on” I don’t believe anything of this story anymore.
Will, FYI, John didn’t post this. I did.
And after all the lame crap Bush and company have pulled over the last few years, you think this is lame? (I had to add a Bush reference for Paul)
The swf file is not coming from where I found it. I uploaded it to my website so there should be no problem downloading it. If you’re using IE or have something set to block flash files or have to click on a top bar for it to run, then it might not appear immediately.
Yeah, it’s lame, but it’s been a long week. Yeah, that sounds like a good excuse. Happy New Year!
OK. I’ll go with Boxer. She’s a bit much even for me. And you’re right. Something isn’t working under IE. It was before I started tinkering with it. Works under FireFox. Let me do some more tinkering.
Sorry for the stupid comment. I am using firefox and I haven;t installed flash etc.
Alright. I think it’s fixed now for both IE and FireFox. What a pain!
John, I’ve been reading your columns for years. I must say that you got me hook line and sinker. My laptop almost came off my desk. Bugger.
It appears to be working OK with Camino. This week’s choice.
Safari ain’t getting better on DU — and Firefox 1.5 for OS X seems to have acquired a couple of bugs. So, tried Camino, once again — and it’s running better than ever.
Great!
Out of idle curiousity, Paul, what do you use? I consider myself a power user and with a number of extensions added, I think FireFox is very powerful. I detest going back to IE when I have to. I’ve never liked Opera, although it’s been a while since I tried it last.
Never tried maxthon, although I remember going to the website once. I’ll give it a look. And I have to say, you are more than of a power user than I am. 40 to 100 tabs at a time? And I thought 12 was a lot.
AS***LE!!!
A new low for Dvorak.org. Not only is it many years old, but it’s also a great example of why blogs suck.
I can assure you that we have sunk MUCH lower than this.
That flash animation is so old it was even old 3 years ago. It’s circa Y2K.
NEW AND EXCITING.
I knew there was something wrong when there was no quoted story about it. Plus I clicked more and then went to do something, so as soon as I sat down again, it screamed.
ITS A HOAX IDIOT YOU MADE A PRANK AND YOU LIED AND ALOMOST EVERYBODY HAS SEEN THAT

And damn proud of it ! 🙂
Holy smokes, that looks like something I would do for real. 🙂 I really do love to play pranks on unsuspecting humans.

Nice pic but i’m sure you can do better than that.
